Waterdrop 15UB Under Sink Water Filter, 2-Year Lifespan, with Faucet

Got this to replace a small generic version which used the tube shaped filters similar to those in a fridge water dispenser. The small ones only lasted a short time and seemed to be of variable quality so I replaced with this one. Easy to fit (I did need my box of parts to get the right connectors though) only took a short time to do. I cut in a shut off valve at the same time and had to cut out a section of pipe where the quick fit connector of the old system was as it used the pipe puncture type connection (not sure what the real name is!) so I took that off and replaced the section that had the hole. Water quality seems very good, flow is much faster that the old one, taste is improved as we live in a hard water area and the water can sometimes taste "dry" due to the chalk. the filter looks easy to replace, just a twist off, twist on and says it should last for 15 months which, although more expensive, is good compared to the 3 months of the others. the cost of replacement looks to be slightly more than 5 of the other filters (over the same length of time) but the quality of the filtering is worth that little bit extra.

Quick tip for UK buyers- make sure you get the UB system that comes with flexible hoses and adaptors for 1/2 inch that is the most common in the UK, unless you want to drill a hole in your countertop for the provided faucet that comes in the package. No more jugs that needs cleaning and no more cartridges that needs replacing every 4 weeks. Customer service amazing and very responsive Overall very satisfied with the filter.

So we had a brittas filter jug and was getting old. Was not cost efficient at all and sometimes we could still taste the chemicals after filtering water when we boiled the water in the kettle with a new filter in the jug.! This was a game changer for us as in London water is not great a all in our areas. It’s been so cost effective and very consistent in water quality for both tea and as drinking water. Filter I think needs changing once a year or even longer depending on family size and water usage. I have told all my friends just get this as it does improve the water quality for sure. Fitting it was easy and cartridge below sink unit in cupboard is so thin it does not take up much space at all which was our main worry as tight cupboard and storage space. Lots less hassle than brittas jug and it’s expensive cartridges.

Been working fine for over a year now, I need to replace the cartridge but I will probably change the whole unit for one with better flow.

It’s great, easy to install

I've been using a filter jug for many years and decided to try a water filter integrated into the cold water system. The filter is quite large and wouldn't actually fit under my sink but my partner managed to locate it in an adjacent cupboard, there was plenty of hose to accommodate this. He said it was quite tricky to navigate around the existing pipes. We also had to situate the tap in the kitchen top rather than the stainless steel bowl as there wasn't any room to do that. Not it's in place it's great! water tastes very different and it's lovely to have nice tasting drinking water on tap!

I have had this faucet and filter for a while now and am highly satisfied with it. I bought this so I could stop using water bottles. The installation was pretty easy, I did not have any problems. I have not been having any leakage or odor or anything bad. After doing the initial flush of the faucet, the water has been crystal clear with a great taste ever since. The small faucet looks good next to the main one, making it a practical and space-saving place to have my filtered water. I use the water to cook instead of taking out 5 water bottles. This has been one of the best purchases I have made for my kitchen. I like how easy it is to buy and replace the filter when its time is up.

Ja der Unterschied ist unglaublich. Wir leben im Saarland/Hochwald mit genug frischem Wasser und Wasserhärte 1 und doch ist das gefilterte Wasser um Welten weicher als das ungefilterte. Der Unterschied ist sofort spür- und schmeckbar. Total weiches Gefühl im Mund. Der Kaffee schmeckt total mild ohne die Einstellungen am Kaffeeautomat zu ändern. Der Kaffee war mit diesem Wasser auf einmal zu mild, zu süß, zu viel Milch. Bis jetzt klare Kaufempfehlung. Über die Langzeitanwendung kann ich jetzt noch nichts sagen, werde ggf. nach berichten. Die Montage stellte sich bei weitem nicht so einfach dar wie angegeben, doch am Ende lag es einfach an der bereits vorhandenen Installation der Leitungen die mir das ganze erschwerte. Doch es funktionierte wenn man nur halbwegs handwerklich begabt ist.

Ho acquistato il sistema Waterdrop 15UB con filtro sotto lavello e rubinetto dedicato e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative. L’installazione è stata molto semplice e veloce, anche per chi non è particolarmente esperto, e tutti i materiali trasmettono una sensazione di qualità e solidità. L’acqua ha un sapore nettamente migliore: più leggera, senza odori strani e davvero piacevole da bere. Da quando lo utilizzo bevo molto più volentieri e ho finalmente eliminato le bottiglie di plastica, con un grande vantaggio sia economico che ambientale. Il rubinetto dedicato è elegante e discreto, si integra perfettamente in cucina e il sistema di filtraggio è efficiente senza ridurre troppo la pressione dell’acqua. Inoltre, sapere cosa sto bevendo mi dà una tranquillità in più. Prodotto ottimo, lo consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca un’alternativa pratica, sostenibile e di qualità all’acqua in bottiglia!

I used this unit without problems for about 2 years, then I replaced the filter with WD-RF15-UF 0.01um filter and I had problems. The water flow with 0.01um filter was OK when you plug it in, but then after a while it will stop running when you go to use it. I tried installing pressure reducer and even with that I had no luck. I contacted waterdrop support and they responded quickly, Karina from Waterdrop responded to me and issued a new filter to be shipped out. I received the new unit promptly and I tried that and that also did not work. Karina proposed a solution with a minimal service fee to replace my entire unit of 15UB and I received that unit and replaced it and now I can use the 0.01um filter and the water flow on this upgraded model of 15UB with larger diameter water hose(tube) the water flow is great and I do not require pressure reducer. I gave five stars because the company does support its products and I received excellent support from Karina and Waterdrop product (15UB) is good and easy to install and use and practical for me. So, if anyone has the units with those smaller diameter tubes and have pressure problems the upgraded unit with larger diameter tube might resolve water flow issues. I will not hesitate to recommend trying waterdrop products.

It is excellent and so easy to install. I have reverse osmosis at home, but bought this for the office. RO only holds so much water and can take some time to refill. With this system, it's just as fast as your water will go. When i read that it didn't filter out viruses, bacteria, etc., at first I was put off, but then realized that doesn't really matter for anyone connected to a city or town water. Pretty much the only time you would have to worry about that is if the water supply in your area was purposefully poisoned, or in a bad flood situation. I also really like that it doesn't filter out the trace minerals our bodies need! I had to put an extra expensive filter in my RO system just to add those back in. I looked at the prices for a replacement filter and it is around €18 at the moment. RO is approximately €200 each round of replacement. So, all things compared, you are definitely getting an excellent product and fantastic tasting water. You will not be disappointed. Exceeded
