Each chapter is well put together and the lessons are interesting.

Grade 2 science made interesting. Now it’s a subject he looks forward to every week.

Most of the 'science' books for younger children are either ridiculously simple or simply not appropriate. I have taught for over forty years and now am homeschooling the children of several friends. One very bright young man will be in second grade come September and I needed something for him. Love this book. It gives the lesson and reinforces it throughout the week. Hands on and regular learning as well. Very well thought out and I think some of the older kids are going to enjoy helping him with some of it!

Love the material in it and the way it is layed out. My daughter was disappointed that it was not in color like in the video; it was the first comment she made. Other than that it really is a good book.

We switched to homeschooling mid-year and needed a quick solution for science. After using Google for experiments for a couple weeks, I found this workbook and loved it! It has reading passages that support the experiments.

I like the lessons that are in the book, but only one page a day is not enough in my opinion. We usually finish a whole “weeks” worths in one lesson.
