Great brushes and terrific value!
I used these for a watercolor workshop and they are great! They took a beating and they still look good! They have a great snap and the rounds. Have a wonderful point. They are really good brushes for the price. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying them at all. I like them so much that I took a few out to keep for myself. The variation of sizes is great along with a variation of shapes.

Favorite brushes
My favorite brushes. I use these all the time for my acrylic and oil painting. Perfect length and size. Only draw back is after lots of use the ends wobble and come off the handle. Cleaning with thinners is probably the cause but a little bit of superglue and they are as good as new.

Durable
I'm a professional artist, I purchased these inexpensive filbert brush set to do quick sketches using oil paint. My brushes get a lot of ware and tear, so I wasn't expecting much from this set of brushes. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised that for the most part the brushes have held out nicely. The hairs have not fallen out and they have pretty much kept their shape. The only issue I have had is that the ferrule after some use will loosen and come unglued. I was able to glue the ferrule using gorilla glue, let them sit for while and as good as new. Because of that issue I'm giving the brushes four out five stars. I will buy another set soon.

Must be cleaned gently
The brushes paint well and no bristles come off however, when cleaning the brush with a solvent soaked cloth the metal easily breaks.

Good value, nice brushes
I had wanted to get a budget-friendly travel brush set, so when I saw this Falling in Art Travel Brush Set, I I ordered it right away. The listing for these brushes doesn't mention the size, so I compared them with my Da Vinci and Princeton brushes; the larger brush appears to be an 8 while the smaller seems to be a slightly chunky size 3 or a slim 4. The brushes come in a faux suede drawstring bag, and their cases are shiny chrome and are easy to fit it a small pocket or bag. Mine were in perfect condition, they're about what you'd expect from synthetic Kolinsky, falling between soft and stiff. They hold a good amount of water and paint - not as much as my much pricier Da Vinci brushes but more than the brushes I've used in their price range. They're lovely to paint with. They're smooth on the paper, don't release all the paint in a puddle, and both the large and small ones hold a point well so you can get fine lines with them. The larger brush is probably more versatile, but the smaller one is great for tiny pictures and those details. They're easy to cap if you smooth them into points after rinsing them, just be sure to aim the point of each brush toward the middle of the inside of the cap so you don't damage the bristles. The only problem I had with this brush set is that the cap on the larger brush was stuck on so hard when I first went to open it that it took me several minutes to finesse it off. I didn't want to use a tool as I didn't want to scratch it, but otherwise getting it off the first time is almost impossible. The smaller one opened without a problem. I got my first set in exchange for a review (they don't ask you to make it a positive review, btw), and after trying them for a while, came back and bought a second set for a friend who's wants to do some outdoor painting. I know she's going be happy with them. For under $30, these are very nice brushes, and I'm very glad I got them. There are nicer travel brushes than these, but they literally cost several times as much.
