Very helpful device at a fraction of the cost
This immobilizing boot has been extremely helpful in protecting a loved one's broken foot, at a fraction of the cost when purchased from a doctor's office ($200±). It does take a few tries to understand how to put it on and properly route the straps, but once you learn that, it's easily incorporated into your morning routine. It weighs roughly ~2.5 lbs, is well built and protective, and holds your food steadily and comfortably when pumped up. Would highly recommend this to those suffering and recoving from fractured or broken foot/ankle bones!

Great boot with a few flaws
I fell with resulting Tendon, Sprain and broken Toe issues: I had to keep my foot stable and this boot did the trick. It surrounds your foot, offering a very comfortable walk. The slightly rounded bottom helps you walk with ease and still keeps the foot in place. To secure the boot, the Velcro straps must be tight. 3 of 4 are good stabilizers The ankle strap is the first flaw. Although the Velcro is of good quality and really sticks, INMO, the most important strap, the one supporting the ankle, is too long which makes the Velcro stretch past the boot’s sticky Velcro area. I was able to finagle the strap by pulling it crosswise and sticking the remaining edge into the side of the boot. Improvement needs to be in this strap. It is important. Second, with padding, the boot will fit securely by adapting to your foot and ensuring it is comfortably snug. This boot comes with the cheapest 4 pads ever. At the end of a day wearing the boot, the pads were smashed paper thin doing nothing to keep the boot snug and bruise free. Luckily I had thick pads from anther boot, and used them to create a comfortable fit. The only other issue is that of size. I wear a woman’s size 8 which put me in the middle of the medium boot range. I think that a size small would have been a better choice to alleviate some of the padding and long strap issues I encountered. As mentioned above there are ways around them if you choose the wrong size. In spite of these little “nits” this boot is sturdy, facilitates your walking and keeps your leg and ankle secure. Initially I was in a lot of pain and as soon as I got the boot on, the pain eased. I was grateful to have this boot.

This will save you and your insurance company hundreds of dollars.
I love this boot! I had foot surgery last year on my right foot and didn’t think anything about the cost when I got it from my doctor (to be billed by my insurance). So, when I got my co-pay, it was $98 out of my pocket and my insurance billed $800 (if I remember right). The boot started falling apart after 3 days; the Velcro came off, the boot was not wide enough to keep my floor protected and I threw the boot away as soon as I didn’t need to wear it anymore. Recently, I had surgery on my left foot and prior to the surgery I got smart and checked with Amazon. The boot cost me a pittance compared to the first one and is extremely well-made and protects my foot well. My doctor told me to order a long, large size which I did. I have big feet for a woman, but the long was to protect the whole area of foot and leg both. This is an extremely well-constructed product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an orthopedic boot, with aerodynamic heel and inexpensive. You can’t go wrong with this boot. It has multiple Velcro straps and after 3 weeks of use, the Velcro is still ALL INTACT!

Easy to adjust to fit
I like this boot for many reasons. I have heel spurs that will decrease in pain with the boot (need to wear for about 6 to 8 weeks), but come back later on (like months later). I use the boot for long distance walking, because it helps so much with the pain. It is better to prevent pain than deal with it after it is here. I like that I can put this boot on either foot, depending on which one is having issues. I like that there are fewer velcro straps than the last boot I had. It's hard enough to take it off and put it back on several times a day, but with fewer straps it is just a bit easier. I can't drive with the boot on my right foot, so it has to come off. The velcro on the long side of the insert helps keep everything tight and in place.

Well built, but issues with the sole
The boot is very well built and comfortable. The problem I have is it doesn't rock forward well so I have problems

Very durable
The product was just as advertised. It worked great it held up. I wore it for six weeks. I live in the country, so it was very durable and is still in great condition and can be used again.

The inside part does not stay in place
The boot first off is very noisy. I’ve had to wear a tall walking boot several times. This one is the worst one yet. It’s noisy and the inside (soft sock part) does not stay at all. My foot is constantly sliding forward. The top Velcro strap seems a bit off as well. Not the greatest boot
