Worked great! Would be better if the catch screws were under the latch bolt so it can’t be removed but it fastened the gate very securely.

I bought these to use to lock my lid down on my solar hot water collection tank. I needed something that would allow a very tight fit snug fit and not allow any heat or steam to escape the tank and allow me to lock down the system if need be. These lockable latches are high quality and meet the needs of my job very well. I would highly recommend these for any job that you need an adjustable latching mechanism and the ability to lock.

These work great, I use them on my Ed wire sliding barn style doors on both sides to reduce the dirt blowing bewteen the doors.
