Spalding 44-Inch Backboard and Rim Combo with Advanced Eco-Composite Backboard

My boys love this thing. 5,6,8. It looks really nice and is very sturdy. I got it because i didnt want to buy a pole. But unless you have a pole already you HAVE to buy a universal bracket for it. I wound up having to mount it to a big tree but it does the job just fine. One major problem is with the box it comes in! It is so weird and UPS hates everyone so when i opened it, it had been broken on the corner, not too bad but it could have been prevented with proper packaging. but all in all a great buy.

Very easy to assemble, all you need is a way to mount it to garage or wall. There are several holes in that back that make for many options on how to mount. My family loves it!

The backboard was damaged when we received it. There was a part that had chipped off. Otherwise it seems to be a good product.

Great product. I bought it so my 6 year old could have some fun shooting baskets and so far it has worked very.

When the backboard arrived, the box looked in good shape, but when I opened it the edge was cracked and broken on one corner. Amazon had no problem replacing it with the same backboard. The second one arrived - I checked out all the corners while the UPS driver waited. Everything looked fine, but again when I took it out of the box to put it up the face of the backboard was cracked and broken. I think someone sat a heavy object on top of the rim and it pushed down and broke the backboard. I am not trying again - ordered a different backboard.

Cant beat the price!

Got the backboard installed. Took a little work to get it onto the old mounting hardware for the other backboard. After 1 hour of playing, the bottom of the backboard cracked all the way through after one of my kids hung on the net for a few seconds. Cannot say that the strength of the backboard is very good.
