Can I use these staples with a regular stapler or do I need to buy a heavy duty stapler?

It clearly says they're for "Heavy duty" staplers and even show a photo of one. If anyone is confused and buys these when they needed standard staples, its their own fault for not reading.

Are these 1/2 in. Staples compatable with the Craftman heavy duty stapler?

I don't know if they're half inch they look like it but I don't have it at home right now I took it to my office and I'll tell you that they do staple very well I do a lot of paperwork and have to have documents stapled together that are quite thick and it is pretty smooth stapling

what if I have only like 10 sheets to staple once in a while? aren't the staples too long for that?

The 1/2" leg staples are meant for 70-100 sheets, these will staple thinner stacks of paper BUT the points of the staple will curl up in the middle. With less than about 40 sheets the points will curl up far enough to come all the way back through the paper so that you would have the sharp points coming back out the top of the stack. With just 10 sheets, these points would come far enough out that it would almost certainly jam the stapler each time. Stick with the 1/4" leg staples for stacks of up to 30 sheets. If your stacks to be stapled are usually 10 or less I'd suggest a good quality OFFICE stapler (but not a cheap home stapler) with "standard" staples, not the heavy duty staples.
