Would recommend they offer a lidded 1.5 quart pan but hasn’t happened yet. I have exploded hard boiled eggs in one of the pans (twice) with no apparent follow up problems. Amazing!

The metal handle allows for these to go in the oven as well as the stovetop. When my daughter moved out and needed cookware this is what I got her. The set is midrange in price but higher quality with good weight.

A: No.

**Q: Are these made with Teflon?**
A: Nonstick cookware is found in many kitchens worldwide. The nonstick coating is made from a chemical called PTFE, also known as Teflon, which makes cooking and washing up fast and easy.

**Q: can you use metal utensils inside cookware?**
A: I suppose you COULD, but I use good quality silicone utensils because metal utensils destroy non-stick cookware prematurely. I love Cook's hard anodized cookware, by the way. I used to cook for a living and these are much better than many brands that cost as much a 3X more.

The alternatives to good non-stick cookware is stainless steel and cast iron. But each of those require much more maintenance and care. I own one non-stick stainless steel frying pan and one cast iron pan for times when those pans are absolutely necessary. But even my non-stick stainless steel pan requires much more maintenance than my Cook's hard anodized pans.

Absolutely the best cookware set for any amount of money I have ever owned in my eighty plus years of cooking for family and friends. Have purchased sets as wedding gifts as well as two myself. I wanted a decent quality set to back up my aging hard anodized cookware. This set fills the bill nicely without breaking the bank. Might not be as bullet proof as that famous chef advertised line, but I'm betting it will last two thirds as long at one fifth the price. Yes, Recommended.
