This is a precision tool with a lot of attachments. It uses any other attachments one may have, like my collection of them that come with other screwdriver type of tools. This is exactly what is advertised. It is a torque wrench type of tool, only in a screwdriver form. How did I live without it? It is a great value for the money. The LCD type of screen is accurate and not a cheap component. It gives me a lot of information. The case is a must have item, and this is a very good one. The instructions are top notch and give one a good feeling about making the purchase. This is a well made tool that should last years and years. I would buy this again, even after I have finished my delicate work on a rifle scope. I have a lot of other hobby sort of things that I now know need a torque screwdriver. No more guesswork!

Works great!!! It's nice to know the screws are set properly and to spec but after you set em the right way, you'll barely use this afterwards Lol so in short, great tool to have but you won't be using it much after you tighten everything you have to spec. Still tho, worth the purchase!!

REVISED I purchased this for use in mounting scopes and other attachments. I have used it about 4 times and it just died. The screen starts beeping and digital characters blink in random. So I thought perhaps the CR2032 battery was bad or getting too low to power the tool. So I removed it and tested it which only showed me that it was new and fully powered, yet the tool wouldnt work. I put the battery back into the unit and now it wont even power on to the point of beeping. This is unacceptable that a fairly new tool with very little use fails and I expect a replacement. I am revising this review based on feedback from Wheeler directly. After calling their tech support and working through the problem they offered to send a full replacement for the unit. I greatly appreciate how quickly they addressed the problem and the support team was very helpful and ultimately determined that sending a replacement was the right thing to do. I should receive that in a few days hopefully and be back to work on mounting optics.

I bought this item for my husband. It helps him keep his pistol aligned. It works very well.

Great little driver for optics. Very easy to set the torque. Storage case keeps everything you need handy. It does not come with a T-10 bit, and a longer 2" T-10 bit is required for enclosed optics due to the diameter of the driver shaft.

Wheeler is the best torque wrench for those special projects such as scope mounting, etc. The digital wrench is really cool and does the job. Good set of bits as well even though I have the super big box. The price was definitely right during sales days.

I lost my Vortex torque wrench during a move and wanted to try something different and less expensive. Where as the Vortex works a a traditional torque wrench in that you set the torque and when you exceed that amount it slips and doesn't allow you to over tighten. The Wheeler works to measure the torque at a set level, and beeps once you reach that limit but does not slip so you can over tighten. I wasn't sure I'd like that, but in use it works great. I actually like it better. I paid $55 for the Wheeler, compared to $80 for the Vortex...I think it's a better tool.
