Still learning how to go from Celestial Navigation sextant reading to universal chart plotting. These triangles are relatively inexpensive and very suitable for that since there tends to be less slippage compared to using either parallel or roller rulers.

Tools are solid and high quality, they work very well for my navigation courses. The only issue is that they smell terible even after washing them several times they reek and make my hands reek for hours after every use.

I bought these triangles for Navigation and plotting for class and after one day of use they already started to crack around the handles. Also some of the edges on the triangles don't sit flush against each other and caused error in longer distance measurements and plots.

The numbers are big enough to read clearly. The carry pack is very good. The dividers look good but are not something I would rely on.

These will work, but I will be replacing them as it is hard to pull courses accurately. I would not recommend these for navigation or testing where precision is needed.I had originally given this two stars, because I thought it was my oversight, however I now see that it not even the product that was pictured. and I will see if I can go about getting a refund.

Only one triangle came with a handle, the other triangle does not have a handle, so it does me no good when charting

Not accurate for Navigation, bad quality!

Amazing set I used for my ASA 105 certification. They are large and well designed and I kind of like them better than a parallel ruler
