Perfect.. stable!, solid, dip bottles
Perfect size for scribbling and practicing. And the silicone base makes it much more stable, like when the cat jumps up onto the tv tray you are using to write on, because she thinks you aren't paying enough attention to her! They hold just enough ink,so you won't need to refill constantly. And they are very durable and seal completely. I've been using them for about 6 months and I'm very pleased With them. Well worth the cost.

Perfect size and great functionality
These are so useful for my inks! Previously I was using those disposable plastic dip cups (like you would get in a restaurant) which were terrible because: 1. They are HUGE for the amount of ink I actually want to use and make it hard to get a depth that would actually fill up a pen nib. 2. They are too lightweight and tip over if you breathe too hard. These dinky dip bottles are the perfect size for the amount I need when I'm drawing with a nib pen, the caps are sturdy and do not leak, and the holders... They are perfect! The holders: 1. Suction to surfaces so they stay put. And the suction works really well! 2. Hold on to the ink bottles well so that the bottles also stay put. 3. Come in different colors so even if you are working with inks that look similar in the bottle, you can keep them straight. Also, I was delighted that my set of 3 bottles and 3 holders came with a free gift of a 4th bottle and 4th holder, and the 4th holder is a different color. The little bottles are easy to clean and easy to store. My inks haven't dried up when stored in them, so I'm not wasting ink. They also make it easy to custom mix colors. I have also used them when using fluid acrylics for details on paintings when I do not need much and don't want a color I mix to dry out.

Perfect setup for dip pen work.
Excellent package for dip pen work — exactly the right tools for the job so that you don't have to leave a large bottle uncapped and worry about whether the cat will knock it over, or whether the nib is getting to the right depth each time. The silicone holders have a suction effect so they'll stick to non-porous smooth surfaces. Even on a wooden desk or table surface, they're much more stable than most alternatives. After using the little vial for dip pen drawing or writing, you can the vial up with its own little lide. (If you have a custom ink blend, or want to lend someone a bit of your precious Deadly Nightshade ink, this is especially welcome!) The package was lovingly packed with a couple very sweet touches.

Nice quality. Fast delivery.
As described and even included a free one. Nicely put together. The cups slip into rubber bases that are actually suction cups to keep the ink from spilling. Very nice.

Perfect and adorably packaged!
First of all, these are packaged adorably - I was instantly in love! The tiny jars are perfectly sized to use with dip nib pens. The caps screw tightly on, and the little holders suction securely to a desk or table, resulting in a lovely setup for writing or drawing. These seem to be really well made and intuitive to use. I love that they come with a little storage pouch too. I’ll definitely buy more of these as the need arises and will pick up more items from this brand!

May be too tiny for some
This is a 4.5 star product for me, I like these but am picky-picky and would like them more if they were just ever-so-slightly deeper and just a hair wider, too.... For reference, I use a Tachikawa T-40 holder and mainly Japanese-made pointed nibs (school, spoon, G, mapping, etc.,) for sketching. The distance between the tip and the breather hole/vent on some of these nibs--the area you dip Into the ink-- is just a little too long, a bit too much real estate, to make the shallow size of these dinky dip jars as practical as I'd hoped. These will be awesome for travel, since the threads on the lid can be tightened quite securely, but I'd hoped to use these as an everyday item, in-studio. Jury is still out about that tho: I feel like I'm going to be adding ink into the jars more often than I'd like (to keep the level totally full to the top) or greedily tipping the jars, on each dip, out of fear of an an under-inked pen. Again, this doesn't apply to every nib I own, but just FYI that some nibs may not pair as well with this size/capacity of jar. Lastly, the silicone cups, the real selling point for me, fit REALLY snugly around the bottles. Too snug, IMO. I have to work and work to get each jar to sit perfectly upright, mine always seem crooked and I really have to strong-arm 'em in. Maybe, in time, the silicone will relax some... tho of course it's far better they're too tight than not snug enough. I have not tested the suction power of the silicone, can't vouch for it, because I use a weird, absorbent little box as the resting space during live ink sketching. I'd assume this silicone would best stick to very smooth/very clean plastic surfaces vs the old and oily, often pitted wooden desks some artists may favor. The price point is a bit steep vs what you're really getting here, materials wise there's absolutely nothing fancy, but the sweet and high quality packaging makes up for that.
