Great marketing research book that is detailed and well written.
Great book that gives you a lot of tools. I bought the book as well as the ebook. Hyman is thorough, while also understanding of the wide range (of ability) of readers in his audience. He gives a lot of tools that can directly help you on your marketing research journey. I teach this course at a college and several of the students bought this and found it useful.

Cover bent
Product arrived on time. Disappointed in the condition of the front cover. Bent all the way down. Not that big of a deal and will keep but disappointing being that is was bought โnewโ.

Getting into the world of marketing
I am in marketing major and this book helped me to gain additional knowledge that I wouldnโt know at school. It is a book for starter to get a feel of the marketing world shortcut at a glance.

I could find pretty much everything in this book on Google
I could find pretty much everything in this book on Google, so it was kind of a waste of money. If you do buy it, make sure you get the hard copy. I realized too late that maybe the only useful thing this book has to offer is on the accompanying CD (using Excel for some basic analysis), but I bought the ebook and was past my return window.

Hyman has done his homework and put together a solid framework for market research. If you're looking for a method that you can follow and obtain quality data for marketing decisions then this is a great place to start.

Brilliant introduction to the subject
Very thorough introduction to the subject--contains everything you need to get started in marketing research. The authors obviously have tremendous acumen in marketing yet manage to convey even the most abstruse topics with great clarity and humor. I bought this book because I am thinking of starting a business and needed some guidance on doing the marketing research, and this book gave me some great ideas to get going on this.
