## Description

PROTEK CLP is made from space-age polymers. It offers dozens of uses, among them in the piano service industry. Protek removes verdigris and protects against future build-up by coating the center pin and sealing the felt from moisture thus preventing oxidation. Unlike silicone, Protek will not run, dry out or become ineffective. Since Protek will not harm wood, plastic, metal or the piano finish, it is excellent for damper guide rail bushings, underlever lubrication, front and balance rail pins, capstan screws and squeaky knuckles.

**Q: Can this be used in piano key bushings? Will it make the felt linings in the bushings wet and sticky?**
A: Hello, 
We would suggest to use an ultra fine powdered lubricant rather than a liquid dry film lubricant such as the Protek CLP for Key Bushings.  We hope this helps!

**Q: Could this be used to lubricate a rowing machine chain?**
A: I do not think so, this is very fine oil and is probably not suited for a rowing machine.
I believe that you have to look for heavier oil

**Q: Can I use this for acoustic wooden piano keys?**
A: I used this on my grand piano keys. They were sticking. And this product fixed it.

**Q: Is the msds available?**
A: the product is safe to use. It works perfectly on sticky piano keys. highly recommended
