I was not prepared!
I go through quite a lot of bay leaves so I decided to order them in bulk rather than in the small jars - much less expensive and less recycling. I chose this brand based on number of positive reviews and wow! I was not prepared for the intense bay smell upon opening the bag. I've never smelled anything like it coming out of the jars. These bay leaves are large and extremely flavorful. I highly recommend them.

Great smell, exactly what I needed!
These are the true bay leaves I use and know! I ordered from a different company, and those were not bay leaves, at least not the ones I knew for years. Hope Amazon gives me the refund for the ones that were not bay leaves, since the product is not returnable.

Not totally dry -- excellent purchase
The bay leaves were not at all totally dry as I expected. This was good as they had a faint fragrance that was nice.I like to make tea with the bay leaves

Not very good bay leaves
The leaves are packaged nicely. They are whole leave and non broken. However the aroma is very weak and more of brown color than green. Perhaps staled leaves. Under the item detail section, it is shown region of origin- Belgium, but the package that I received shown as Turkey.

Very Good Product
I had kidney stones and shortness of breath, I made this tea bay leaves with cloves, which is also a very powerful tea, and drank it for a month. I went back to the doctor and had the exam again, thank God the stones that were in my kidneys disappeared. And I also know many people who had the same problem and were cured with this tea.
