Love mine
This is my second Worx trimmer. I also own the corded vacuum/blower, and a lid to put over a yard waste can that hooks up to the corded vacuum/blower allowing you to vacuum up leaves and mulch them without carrying a heavy bag on your shoulder. Honestly, I have to say I am super impressed with that item and I am impressed with this trimmer. My first Worx trimmer lasted about 8- 9 years before the battery started to lose its power. It was a great trimmer and I struggled between buying a new battery or just getting a brand new trimmer and I am glad that I bought the new trimmer. This one is just as good if not better. Much much lighter than the original. The two extra batteries are awesome. I can literally finish my entire yard with one battery. I also like the edging function, although the original Worx trimmer was much easier to use as an edger, because the wheels were in a better area, and seemed to allow for better balance while edging, but this one still is a pretty decent edger. You just have to get it in the right spot and it really makes your lawn look a heck of a lot better than if you didnโt edge. We donโt use any chemicals on our lawn whatsoever, so it isnโt the most beautiful lush lawn but when I mow and edge, it looks fantastic. The automatic feed button seems as if no extra line is being pulled out but upon inspection, it really is. No, itโs not going to be wonderful if you have a huge lot and are trying to weed whack very tall and thick weeds but if you have an average size lawn that is not covered in a ton of super thick weeds, then this is really all you need. Itโs certainly not like a gas powered edger, but works fabulous and you donโt have to deal with a cord which is even better. The replacement line is very easy to install. The original one I had was a pain in the butt to install the line because sometimes the spool would unravel in your hand and just would be a pain in the butt as a lot of trimmers have this issue. I also think they still honor their old โfree spools for lifeโ program in which all you have to do is call them up and spend eight or nine bucks for shipping and they send you 12 spools (I think it is 12). I donโt really have anything bad to say about this machine. I do think that the charger for the batteries is flimsy but if you store it properly, you shouldnโt have a problem. I guess I just like their tools and they work for me. Iโm glad I bought this and Iโm sure when I need a new one (hopefully not too soon) I will buy the same brand.

Light and easy to use - 2 batteries does my 1/4 acre (well maintained) lot with no problems
I wanted to wait after a few uses. I think I've used it about 9-10 times now. So glad we got this. It is really light and makes trimming and edging seem almost fun now. Thinking back to my corded trimmer and always having to manually feed the line because the autofeed never worked right. The autofeed works on this almost flawlessly. I've only had to open the cap with the line twice. Once because I didn't autofeed in time and the line was no longer sticking out then the 2nd time was to swap it out. I just bought the 6 pack of line here on amazon because it was basically the same price. Durability and use. After reading the reviews and how hard it was to snap into place I confirmed it was, but I read some and the materials they use are very durable. I think I read it on their homepage that the plastic used was the same plastic on helmets, so I think it will last a long time. I only have about a 1/4 acre of a yard. The first use was not under easy conditions because it rained a lot and things were getting a little tall. Under normal conditions this thing flies through the jobs. Both batteries easily get me through the front and backyard and edging around the flowerbeds. Sadly we got lazy on our backyard flowerbed and now we have grass/weeds...so I just whack them down for now. I know you can't have the perfect "conditional" yard to cut every time because of rain and growth...so 2 batteries is pushed to the limit then because it does bog down in thicker conditions. Not so much that it stops, but it definitely slows down then picks back up once cut. It is light like everyone says, but I read somewhere here ( some elderly lady) where she crafted/engineered an old shoulder strap to help ease the load even more. I will tell you. I exercise and lift dumbbells 10x this weight, but hardly stopping now and moving...it does get heavy after awhile. So I have slowly been thinking how I can rig a shoulder strap. This will make it even faster. I feel my forearms after basically non-stop use of this. The Batteries seem to hold pretty good constant charge for me. I make sure they're both fully charged before I do any work. The only complaint I have, and it may only be mine...is that the charger itself is REALLY snug when snapping in. Snapping into the tool itself is very easy. I don't think my wife or kids would actually be able to unlock it from the charger as snug as it is right now. It works so well and the snug snapping on the charger is not enough to make me want to deduct a star. I plan to buy the hedger and blower next to have extra batteries and chargers. I think on one of them I'll just buy the tool itself. I think 3 batts and 2 chargers should suffice. If I find any anomalies during the summer I will surely report it here. I use amazon reviews like crazy and trust everyone's positive and negative reviews. So if I read enough...I suppose i'd jump off a bridge with yall. Even if I don't buy from Amazon (oops?) I still normally buy something they may stock and read their reviews. Sometimes I just need something right then lol. Sorry Amazon.

Yorx 98 dollar string trimmer
I needed a battery grass trimmer. Did a lot of research. It boils down to what you need and what size yard. Thy are all too expensive. This trimmer seams to meet my needs. It is light and has features that I use. The string seems to be much stronger than what I used before and don't have to adjust it very often. I used powerful gas trimmers which seemed to be overpowered but worked very well but used a lot of string. This one is very conservative on string wear and gets the job done. Motor looks small but runs great. I like the wheels for edging. overall it's worth the money. I would have givin it 5 stars but the batteries take 5 hours to charge. The charger is small and for a quick charge you have to but their more powerful quick charger for 30 dollars more but the new batteries did last more than stated. The battrery was down to 20 percent after about 20 minutes. Two batteries should give almost 1 hour of trimming I think. Note: I only used it one day and it did the job along a chain link fiene and 70 feet of curb.

Lightweight design with impressive battery endurance for a full yard cleanup
Battery Life & Runtime: The standout feature for me is how "long lasting" this trimmer is. On a single charge of the 20V battery, I can easily finish my entire front and back yard (approximately [X] sq ft) without any loss in power. Unlike other cordless models Iโve used that fade as the battery drains, this one maintains a consistent speed until the very end. Ease of Use & Conversion: - Lightweight: At only 5.5 lbs, itโs incredibly easy to maneuver. I don't feel the usual shoulder or back strain after 20 minutes of work, which is a major plus for longer sessions. - The 2-in-1 Design: The head tilts 90 degrees, making the switch from trimming to walk-behind edging very simple. The twin rubber wheels help guide the edger along the driveway for a much cleaner, more professional line than I can get free-hand. The "Command Feed" System: The push-button line feed is a game-changer. I much prefer this over the "bump" feed systems that often jam or waste string. It ensures you have the perfect length of line exactly when you need it without stopping your workflow. Final Verdict: This is the perfect tool for a typical suburban yard. Itโs light enough for anyone to use, yet the battery runtime is long enough to get the job done in one go. If you are looking for a reliable, low-maintenance alternative to gas trimmers, this is an excellent investment.

Easy to use, lightweight and works great!
I could not use a gas powered trimmer. I can do most things but I would ruin my yard trying to weed wack. I decided to try to find something easier and ordered this tool. I have only used it once but itโs so light and easy to use and does a great job. The battery made it through my entire yard. I edged along the sidewalk and driveway and it was fantastic. I no longer have to ask someone else to weed wack my yard. I would highly recommend this tool!

Well Designed Machine, Does Great Sharp/Clean Lawn Edges
I am an experienced lawn maintenance, residential homeowner and have been using this WORX line trimmer for a while and can comment on it's strengths and (potential) weaknesses. Overall, it's a well-designed, good machine and does what I need it to do for maintaining my small residential lawn. This trimmer has many plastic parts which I hope will hold up for residential use with a 3-yr limited warranty. The auto line feed from the upper handle is very handy. This WORX trimmer is ESPECIALLY VALUABLE for cutting clean (vertical) lawn edges alongside concrete walks (which can be very difficult and frustrating with a line trimmer)... the side 'guide wheel(s)' are a 'must' for most of us to prevent our (vertical) lawn edges from looking like a 'bad haircut' alongside concrete. This WORX Line Trimmer in the vertical axis WILL do the job excellently with the help of it's side 'guide wheel(s)' (wheels work best when rolling on the concrete). You will also need some additional WORX pre-wound replacement line spools (also from Amazon.com). The 'standard' doublehelix line on these WORX spools is (sort of) ok but if you want to get the best results, rewind these spools with blue 0.065" Cyclone (professional) trimmer line which is MUCH BETTER line (also available from Amazon.com). With reasonable ability you can re-wind the spools yourself for better economy and less plastic in the landfill. As other users mention, the WORX battery recharger is slow to fully re-charge (comes with 2 rechargeable batteries) but not a 'dealbreaker' (1 hr charger IS available for ~ $38), but for my small yard and 2 batteries I have found the slower charger adequate (I never need more than 1 battery, but I recharge and alternate batteries). And (again) this WORX trimmer delivers a MUCH BETTER result (especially for a clean, sharp edge in the vertical plane along a concrete walkway and/or lawn edge) with the (blue) CYCLONE (USA made, professional) LINE. I would recommend and/or repurchase. UPDATE: I have been using my Worx line trimmer for almost 1yr... It's an excellent tool and I would repurchase and/or recommend it especially with the blue/professional line mentioned (above). I use my WORX trimmer mostly vertically for trimming alongside concrete walkway/driveway and it works great and achieves a nice, sharp, clean edge.. IMPORTANT TIP: When using this trimmer in the vertical mode for the sharpest edge, PULL THE TRIMMER BACKWARDS (like you would use a garden hoe, walking backwards and PULLING it towards you) rather than 'pushing' forwards and you will get a cleaner/sharper edge. BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO TRIP OR FALL (or over any objects/obstacles) while SLOWLY walking backwards. For trimming a clean, sharp lawn edge along a concrete sidewalk, I keep the guide wheels ON THE CONCRETE and SLOWLY walk backwards with the trimmer running as it produces a clean, sharp lawn edge adjacent to the concrete (I have found this works better than 'pushing' the string trimmer forward on the concrete). Vertical lawn edging with this Worx String Trimmer requires patience and concentration but with some practice it can certainly be mastered... For Best Results WORK SLOWLY and DON'T RUSH IT!

The good and the Horrible...
The good and the Bad... First; you shouldn't compare this to a gas powered trimmer -- they are not really comparable, and they are good for different things. The Worx trimmer is best for lite duty shorter duration work. It has one string not two HOWEVER it has a decent amount of power. It's VERY lite at ~5.5- 6 lbs (great!!). It is easy to compress the trimmer with a telescoping stem, so very portable. One of the reasons I wanted it was to take grass and nettles off my hiking trail and it is lite enough to carry it way out there---These are excellent features. But there are some serious issues.... 1) One is the line feeder; Every time you take your hand off the power, it releases more line 'automatically' whether you need it or not, and the line feeder button doesn't seem to work at all. Every time I pause, line gets fed out which I have to cut, any other approach, makes it get stuck, and then you have to take the line holder out. I don't want line going out if I don't need it and don't want to stop every 5 minutes if it jams which it frequently does --two extremes. 2) One of the batteries must be defective because it takes up to 6.5 hours to charge !!!, the other one takes 2.5 hours. Clearly one of the batteries has issues. So... 3) I tried to reach Customer Service about this slow charging issue ---they have Terrible Customer Service; their support consists of a menu of self help stuff, that doesn't apply to a slow charging problem. Good luck reaching them!! If Worx wants to have that kind of support, it seems to me they should make a better product!! I will likely return it, not going to chase them around to deal with this battery issue.... Not ready for prime time. Too bad because if they had better quality control it could be a decent 'secondary' trimmer... to do lite duty in the yard.

Be the wife your husband always wanted!
My first weed wacker! Other reviews convinced me I could do this! It is exactly as described & I had a short introduction time to practice. My hub HATES to trim & made sure I could easily handle this lil jewel to have the perfect lawn of my dreams(w/o having to gripe @ him to do it!) light weight enough that I STILL have strength to get a hearty meal on the table for my big fella! It shipped fast & was well pkgd, still, prong on charger was bent & small area of plastic holding the cutting blade was broke off. Seller made it right & hub was thrilled there was no lapse in my usage of this magnificent tool!

Buena funciรณn poca baterรญa
Funciona bastante bien, lo malo es que con las 2 baterรญas trabajas solo 1 hora y cada una se recarga en 5 horas. Serรญa bueno tener carga rรกpida o que ambas baterรญas duren 2 horas

A perfect trimming machine!
I wanted a trimmer that was battery operated , is light and easy for me to handle. The battery works with my husband's drills etc so I always have a backup. I love it but now the trimming is definitely my job, lol.

Really happy with this trimmer
This trimmer does what it is supposed to do. Iโve had it for a couple of weeks now and the battery lasts long enough to trim my entire yard twice, which is better than I expected. The unit came with two batteries, so I keep one in the charger at all times to ensure I always have power when I need it. The string advance feature works well. The string itself is much thinner than Iโm used to, but it works just as well as the thicker string I used with my old trimmer. This trimmer is light and easy to use and the edger feature is great! Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Short battery life but graet value
The Worx WG163 GT 3.0 20V Cordless Grass Trimmer is a powerful and lightweight tool that makes trimming a breeze. It's easy to handle and delivers precise results, making yard work much more manageable. It comes with two batteries, which is a great feature, but even with the extra battery, the overall battery life could be better. Having to swap and recharge batteries frequently can be a bit of a hassle. Overall, it's a great trimmer with room for improvement in battery performance.
