Blaster Silicone Garage Door Lubricant

Works well! My garage doors sound so much quieter and move more smoothly.

I use this about every sixty days to lubricate my garage door rollers and spring. It's great preventative maintenance that I suspect extends the time between having to have the garage door serviced. A few bucks for a can, a few minutes every two months - a small investment to save a $200 garage door service call!

Literally the BEST lubricant for garage doors and I've used several other brands. This lasts the longest. I use my garage a lot and spray this on the chain and tracks a couple times a week and it is almost silent. Most people don't realize you need to do this regularly but you do! Detracts spiders/bugs as well so no more webs in the tracks. Just buy it - you won't be sorry!

I found this product from a YouTube how-to/review. I have never lubricated garage doors before, but this baby did the trick. Both were squeaky and creaky after tons of carpentry projects in my garage that generated loads of sawdust. I lubricated anything with ball bearings, all moving joints, the spring (recommended by my garage door tech), and the outsides of the bar that holds the spring because they have ball bearings, too. Per bottle safety instructions, I used nitrile gloves, eye protection, and an N95 mask. My garage door tech said not to lube the cables because it wouldn’t make a difference, and he also said not to lube the doors more than once every six months. I set a reminder on my phone, and I’ll use B’laster again. :)

have been using on garage door hardware and is doing job. Have large backyard metal wind spinners that tend to rust so use product to keep bearings and shaft lubricated and prevent rusting on spinning points of contact. seems to have enough residual to prevent rust for 4 months in garden outside.

I applied and the noise is gone.

I sprayed all moving parts including hinges, chain pulley and the track. Noise considerably reduced. Product is working beautifully.
