Shockingly versatile!
I was skeptical these would work for my full face protector because the factory pads were pretty intricate. But I did my best to keep some symmetry, have pads on all sides and the top, and.... it's a perfect fit!! The extra adhesives worked perfectly too to replace or reinforce the factory ones that were worn or gone. I have an extra pack of pads from the order too and a couple left over from the pack I used.

Great Little Kit to Refresh an Older Helmet or two!
I bought this MTGHYARE bike helmet padding kit to replace the worn-out pads in a couple of older helmets, and it worked great. The kit comes with a nice variety of shapes and sizes, so it really does feel universal. I was able to replace the pads in two helmets and still had enough left over that I could probably do it again. The included adhesive hook-and-loop pieces are also handy because they let you customize the placement instead of being stuck with whatever was already in the helmet. The pads are soft, comfortable, and seem to be made from nice quality material. They made the helmets feel much better again without adding bulk or weight. Installation was simple, and everything stayed in place like it should. For the money, this is a pretty great value. It does exactly what you would expect, and it is a much cheaper option than replacing a helmet just because the pads are worn out. Good product, good price, and very useful to keep around.

Affordable Helmet Refresh Kit That Gets the Job Done
Affordable Helmet Refresh Kit That Gets the Job Done I bought this MTGHYARE helmet padding kit to give new life to an older bike helmet that had lost most of its comfort. For under six dollars, itโs a simple, functional fix that works better than expected for casual cycling or commuting use. The set includes several foam pads and plenty of adhesive hook-and-loop circles. Installation was easy enoughโcleaning the old surface first helps the Velcro stick better. The foam itself is lightweight, breathable, and decently soft, making a clear comfort difference right away. My helmet fit more snugly, and sweat absorption improved on longer rides. That said, the pads are thinner than some OEM liners, so they donโt offer a luxurious cushion feel. Riders who sweat heavily or bike in high humidity might also find the adhesive backing needs reinforcement over time (a dab of extra Velcro or glue solves this). But for the price, itโs hard to complain. The pieces are easy to trim and reposition, and the kit comes with enough extras for multiple helmets or future replacements. Bottom line: A budget-friendly, practical way to extend the life and comfort of your helmet. Donโt expect premium thickness, but do expect solid value and a noticeable comfort upgrade for minimal effort.

Good value for the cost
Letโs face it, these are not the most amazing, squishy, sturdy foam pads youโll ever find, but great value for me, and all I really needed, so 5-star review based on the product for the price. Was able to replace the most important pads in my helmet and am satisfied with the result.

Offers a variety of options for adding padding
It didnโt come with adhesive but I use velcro pads. I used it for a mask and it worked great the mask didnโt dig into my head anymore. It has a nice mix of small and large pads. They work great soft cool and comfortable. But I have most of them still. I used 2 for a mask to align it with my jaw and the rest here and there for hats. You have head gear or elbow and knee pads that need extra support this is a good pick. The big ones are thick and comfortable while the smaller ones are soft and comfortable helping adjust masks and hats. They are also very durable even soaked in sweat once dry they retain their shape. Very happy with this When I get snow boots I will use a few to make them have more ankle support worth getting.

Skip if you have an older Giro helmet.
BAD fit for older Giro helmet. I was able to make mine work, but theyโre not a really good fit along the bottom edge. You might need to use some real Velcro to make these stay in place as the provided Velcro pieces are very small and not really numerous enough for a secure fit.

Awesome Padding
Bought to replace the rotten padding in my favorite bike helmet. Easy to install, nice thick padding, comfortable fit, better than the original padding.

Solid Comfort Upgrade โ Great Value, but Not Perfect
I recently tried out the MTGHYARE bike helmet padding kit as a way to refresh an older helmet that had lost its original liners. Overall, it delivers a lot of value, though there are tradeโoffs. Hereโs how it stacks up. ๐ What I Like 1. Improves Comfort & Fit The pads do a nice job of making helmets feel much more snug and comfortable. They fill in wornโdown spots, reduce hot spots/contact points, and generally make wearing the helmet more pleasant, especially during longer rides. Users commonly mention that their helmet feels like new again after installing these pads. 2. Good Variety & Universal Fit You get multiple pad shapes and adhesive circles (Hook & Loop / Velcro style), which lets you position them in various spots inside different helmets. Because of that flexibility, this kit works with many kinds and brands of helmets โ bike, motorcycle, etc. 3. Lightweight + Washable Material The material is soft, breathable sponge/foam, which helps airflow and reduces sweat buildup. Itโs lightweight so it doesnโt feel like itโs adding a lot of bulk. Most people also find theyโre easy to remove, wash, and dry, which is a big plus from a hygiene standpoint. 4. Excellent Value For the cost, this kit is much more affordable than buying a new helmet just because the padding inside has degraded. If your helmet shell (the protective outer parts) is still good, this kit can breathe new life into it. Multiple users say they were happy with saving money this way. ๐ What Could Be Better 1. Padding Thickness Sometimes Thin Some users expected more plushness; the foam/pads are on the thinner side for certain models. If your helmet used to have very thick padding or large forehead/cheek pads, these replacements might feel a bit less cushioning in those areas. A few reviews mention the padding โcould be thicker.โ 2. Adhesive / Velcro Durability Varies The sticky/adhesive or Velcro parts are decent, but a few people reported that pieces fell off after a while, especially in sweaty or highโhumidity use. Preparation (cleaning the helmet interior well before applying) seems key. Some users had to reโstick or adjust pads after some use. ๏ฟผ 3. Fit Isnโt Perfect for All Helmets Although the universal design is a strength, itโs not a perfect fit for every helmet. Sometimes shapes or sizes donโt align exactly with the helmetโs inner shell contours, especially in unusual helmet brands or styles. A few users had to trim or shift pads to fit properly, which is doable but adds a bit of work. โ๏ธ Bottom Line If you have an older helmet whose padding has worn out (but whose shell is still safe), the MTGHYARE padding kit is a really useful, costโeffective solution. It wonโt restore your helmet to premium brandโnew spec, but for most everyday riders itโs more than good enough: improves comfort, fit, reduces sweat discomfort, and extends use. If I were you, Iโd check what kind of padding your helmet originally had (thick foam? large forehead pad?) If that was something you liked, expect something slightly less plush. But if you just want a helmet that feels better than before, this kit will be pretty satisfying.

very comfy
Just put them on. Fit is great, very comfy, padding stick good to helmet. Not sure how long they will last yet but so far so good. If your helmet padding was way overdue like mine, They will take half a point off the helmet. So if you are already stretch to the limit of your helmet you will find it snug.

Fixed helmet well
After some years in storage I decided to dig ot my bike helmet only to discover its original liner pads had disintegrated to dust. This kit did an excellent job at replacing them and I was even able to use the original velcro securing pads as well as those supplied to refit the helmet for a fraction of the price of buying a new helmet.
