When I first installed this I had an issue that the beeping sound never changed its frequency. Meaning that as you approached an object the beeping sound was always the same speed. I was pretty sure that it it should speed up the closer you got to the object so I wrote to customer support and they sent me a new one. The new one did exactly what I was expecting! :) The sound frequency increases as you approach an object and stays on solid when you’re “too close”. I was very happy with the customer support. The color matched my bumper perfectly and looks like it’s OEM. I mounted the display above my rear view mirror and it blends in pretty well also. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that I wish it actually started beeping sooner. It’s pretty easy to install, but you have to be comfortable with working on a car as you have to take a lot of panels off to feed the wires. Also, drilling a hole in your bumper is a little scary, but like I said, it looks OEM. This might be overwhelming to some people. I didn't want the eye sore that is the LED display staring me in the face on my console, so I snuck it under the console behind the stereo and I can hear it just fine, so sound isn't an issue. The way I have it set up and the proper way, as far as I understand it, is to tie the positive into the backup taillight, and so far it works just fine each time and only comes on when, you guessed it, I back up. The different color sensors are much appreciated, so I was able to color match my vehicle. However, took me hours to install, and I am familiar with installing various things. Difficult to figure out exactly where to run wires. I think the install would be difficult for most people. Also, drilled bumper holes correctly, but did not fit into bumper holes correctly, did not snap in or stay put. Ended up shaving down the sensors a little with dremel, and using two part epoxy to secure the sensors into the bumper holes. Did not try running wires to cabin.
