A sports bully romance with a twist
Sports, Bully, an Alphahole, a Goofball and a Caring one, a feisty AF female and some serious STEAM - check and check!Briar is so incredibly complex and highlights what can happen to a person following immense trauma, she's so consumed by the grief of losing her brother, Brady. She became a fraction of the person she was before Brady passed, we get the story from her POV so we really feel like we're going through the motions with her.Lex, Cade and Reid are the three hotshot football players who were Brady's best friends. Reid is the ring leader, Star QB and total alphahole who is behind of the unwanted attention Briar is getting. Cade is the loveable goofball who I obviously adore the pants off! Lex is the more reserved and nurturing one. I low key shipped Lex and Briar together ngl!The tension, the angst, the push and pull was so intense! I felt protective of Briar, the tactics the guys used were more extreme than a bit of the old tough love to bring her back to herself, that bully element teamed up with the emotional story...I was a goner for at least half of the book! But then Reid goes through some serious character development, who knew this guy was capable of being so damn sweet from how he started?! Well apparently not me because I was shook! Also harbouring deep emotions and trying to cope with the same loss has taken its toll on him so I was willing to forgive him for his earlier misdemeanours!Sweetness aside, be prepared because this is still a bully romance and THAT ENDING?! Just...so mean to put us through this cliff hanger Erin! Luckily I'm late to this party so I can just go on ahead and jump into the next book!

Good book
Bit sad as constantly reminded of her loss of her brother but a good read still I enjoyed the romance I only gave it 4 stars due to the ending it's bit pushing the same trauma but otherwise a good book

Awesome!!!!
📖Briar's life is turned completely on its axis, when her brother and best friend is involved in a tragic accident. Trying to forget everything, she disappears into herself, runs away and changes her appearance. Her brothers friends take it upon themselves to bring her back, to be the Briar that was before. But does she even exist anymore? She feels utterly alone, but sometimes the things you need are directly in front of you.📚 E.M Moore has produced another fantastic novel- this time M/F not RH. I loved the dynamics of the group and the relationships built the raw emotions that poured from the pages had me tearing up too. The characters were well introduced and I felt close to all of them - a great example of Moore's talent which is ever apparent throughout the book. Ended on a cliffhanger but it wasn't from a great height...absolutely cant wait until the next!

Not for me
Won't be readng the concluding part. Clearly, this is not a genre I can enjoy. To each their own. I imagine this is a good example of the brand albeit with very obvious storyline so if that's your jam, you might get more out of this than I did.

Sports romance at its finest 🏈
Tropes;🏈 Brothers teammate/bestfriend🏈 Healing from loss🏈 Football romance🏈 Friends-enemies-lovers🏈 Touch her and ☠️I love EM Moores writing and this was another knockout. Briar is a likeable character from the start. She’s dealing with her grief in the only way she can and reading her journey, her finding some hope along the way is wonderful.Reid, Lex and Cade are all brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed what each brought to the story and I can’t wait to experience the conclusion.

good book
Enjoyed this book plot was good characters were also great. The depiction of grief was accurate and I felt for briar loads. Hope briar and Reid last and make it. Lex seems a little suspicious to me but I guess we will see in the next book

Great read.
I wasn't sure where this book was going when I started it, and to be honest I'm still not sure but I am enjoying the ride! I love the characters, they've been through so much but are still there for each other. Can't wait to see what happens next.
