Just what I was looking for

Seems like a nice material, and it fits me well enough (got L ... I am 5'7" and 155 lbs.). It does shift sometimes, but no more than any other pads that I had used before. I have no complaint.

The top strap flat out is too short, meaning the shin guard is uncomfortably tight. Some other reviewers mentioned this and I wish I'd taken them more seriously. The problem is serious enough that I'm not using them. I would return them, but I sparred in them twice before giving up. I'm 6 feet and bought a large, which fits me in terms of length.
