Regret purchasing
I bought two of these drive shafts. Borh of them caused a worse vibration than the original drive shaft making the car undrivable I ended up having to have my old drive shaft rebuilt. Needing to spend extra hundreds of dollars to have the drive shaft swapped out multiple times do not buy stay away!!!!

A good choice for me so far!
If you need to replace your front driveshaft on your e90 x-drive awd car, you can spend anywhere from $75 (used) to $1100 (new from bmw) for this part. The used parts are difficult to gauge condition and wear, while the cheapest new parts are potentially not good quality. One difference I was able to observe in the new aftermarket parts was whether or not the driveshaftโs yokes used snap-rings or tack welds to secure the outside of the bearings that hold the yoke to the spider at each end. Having also seen the snap-ring style of driveshaft for sale from a reputable bmw shop online, I opted for this part from Amazon because it is also constructed with snap rings. I have driven about 500 local miles so far with this exact driveshaft installed (took under an hour to install!). Iโve tried to put some stress the driveshaft by pushing the car a bit in the rain and in turns. It has held up perfectly! I will update this review if I ever have any problems with this part - so far itโs great!

DID NOT FIT MY 08โ 335XI
I wonโt leave a bad review because the item itself seems to be good quality, but it did NOT fit my 2008 335xi. Both extremes of the driveshaft were too big and I ended up having to pick up a used driveshaft from my local junkyard. BE AWARE

I just received the drive shaft and installed it, apparently they did not bother balancing it before they sold it. Anything over 45 in my car feels like it's going to fall apart.
