I bought my dream sofa about 3 months ago, which is the famous cloud couch/modular couch, whatever you wanna call it. So, I’ve been dealing with each piece sliding every time I sit on it, esp if you’re doing *other* activities on it, they will just slide completely apart and you’ll fall thru. Well, I finally had enough and searched for a way to connect them without damaging my beloved sofa. I found these, and holy smokes, they work GREAT. I took advice from another reviewer, and bought two for each connection point, just to make sure it’s super secure and sturdy, and I am in love. They work great, don’t slide anymore. Even though my couch is on hardwood. I can’t rave enough, and I HIGHLY recommend using two for each contact point, especially if you own the 43” deep cloud couch. Just get them, they’re easy to install, and work phenomenally.

Wish I'd gone to the trouble of buying and fitting these years ago. The standard plastic toothed things supplied by the shop for our big corner sofa have never held the three pieces together reliably. When I finally managed to break one of them, I decided to see if there was anything better. These are so much better once fitted. It's a bit of a physical chore to turn your sofa upside down and fit these, but trust me, it's a once only task and you won't regret it. The metal jaws and pegs engage perfectly and the sofa components stay locked rigidly together. Recommended these to a friend of mine for the sofa in his conservatory as he had similar problems with parts detaching. Worked a treat for him too.

After ordering my ridiculously expensive couch set, I was maddened by the crap plastic hardware I was provided during installation. It was so bad that one of the posts broke within weeks, wedged a screw under it and scratched up (gouged really) my gorgeous maple floors. I was on the hunt for something durable. This far exceeded my expectations. They are easy to install, easy to attach, easy to detached and incredibly good quality. I was almost nervous they were TOO strong when I got them. But they have been perfect.
