I was unsure about the Soundcore Motion Boom at first because older reviews (from early firmware) said it was very bass‑heavy. I finally bought it in Nov 2025. With the newer firmware (0.55) and a custom EQ based on Alan Ross I modified it to my taste (+5, +4, 0, -2, +1, +2 , +5, +5, +1), the sound quality is excellent and rich with plenty of good quality Bass. The stock EQ that come out of the box are flat and muffled sounding and don't do this speaker any justice (Soundcore what are you thinking?), you will need to play with the EQ to make this speaker pop. I listen to dance, rock, country and metal, and the dual‑driver setup gives a wide stereo sound which I love. I bought it mainly for outdoor and garage use and it has great presence outside, but I now use it indoors too—bass at +5/+6 is plenty but I occasionally bump it up to 7 or 8. I notice that the bass quality is better and fuller when the volume is less than 100%. Battery life is strong and doesn’t drain when unused which speaks well for the components used. I only charged it 1 time since I bought it and with several hours of listening I am on 90% battery over the course of 1 month, Bluetooth works perfectly, and the speaker feels solid and rugged enough for outdoor use. The EQ saves directly to the device and you can store multiple pre-sets (i.e. no need to have the Soundcore app running). One negative: The app doesn’t show the EQ values and instead you need to click on each frequency to check what it is set to and the problem is that you end unintentionally changing the presents as it is very sensitive, and there’s no undo button. But still with this negative I find it hard to reduce even 1 star as I can forgive this and I consider the value proposition here. For £54, I couldn’t find a better alternative and I’m very happy with this purchase as a good value for money. I would highly recommend the Soundcore Anker Motion Boom Bluetooth Speaker. If anyone knows of a alternative Bluetooth speaker in this price range they would recommend, I would love to hear what you found.

Bought it as a gift for my daughter at uni..She loves it ,connect through Bluetooth. Long battery lifeIt's loud and clear .it's good size and weight..100 percent recommend itPrice is affordable

This speaker is very good. I bought boom 2 and this motion. My brother likes the motion more because of the good quality sound and bass it produces, almost reaching same levels with boom2 which is 199pounds. I almost regret buying boom2. Nevertheless boom2 is special to my heart. I love it, and has a bit surrounded sound because its a bigger speaker.The battery for motion is good, lasts long. Quick charging also.What I don't like is that my calls go through to the speaker when playing music with my phone. I have to turn off Bluetooth to answer call. This is the only downside of motion. I will definitely recommend motion over and over to family and friends. Just wait for it to go on sales.But on boom2 when a call comes in my phone while I am playing music, when I answer it doesn't go on the speaker, the speaker temporarily disconnect so I can answer call on my phone.Motion is portable and light weight. No distortion in high volume, all my speakers motion and boom2 no distortion. Good bass and sound at high volume.The boom2 is definitely for a bigger space or outdoor. But if you like loud music and young, go for any.I have a suggestion to the soundcore , please can you start making these speakers to be remote controlled, sometimes I hate to get out of bed to turn it off or to press the button on the device because my hands are always dirty from work. A remote control will will be good especially for the bigger and heavy speaker like boom2 that beast should have a remote.NOTE THE PAIRING OF SPEAKERS ONLY WORKS ON SAME MODEL OF SPEAKER FROM SAME MANUFACTURER.I WAS DISAPPOINTED I COULDN'T PAIR MY BOOM2 AND MOTION BOTH SOUNDCORE SPEAKER. I BOUGHT THEM BECAUSE I WANT TO PAIR BOTH FOR BEAST MODE, BUT COULDN'T. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE SAID I CAN ONLY PAIR SAME MODEL BOOM2 X BOOM2.I use tronsmart bang max 130w, that's a beast on another level, lots of bass, I could still pair all speakers.So they advertise you can pair up to 10 to 100 speakers but don't tell buyers it has to be exactly same model.

I was in the market for a new Bluetooth speaker to replace my now ancient Bose soundlink, but didn’t want to spend Boses “premium” prices again. I looked online and this Anker Motion Boom speaker kept coming up in the popular top ten lists etc. All the rave reviews seemed a bit too good to be true, but the price is very reasonable so I thought why not give it a go, I can always send it back. Well, the reviews were right. This is a fantastic speaker.The size and weight is reasonable and portable enough for my “around the house” use case. But it’s definitely closer to a boom box than a pocket friendly speaker. The Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless. I can keep the speaker playing whilst I move around my house with my phone. The battery life is brilliant, I seriously doubt it would be possible for the average user to run this down to 0% in 24 hours. For context I’m charging it once a week on average. The sound quality is also far above what you can reasonably expect in this price range. I’ve set mine up with a custom EQ (which is another often overlooked feature in “name brand” speakers) but the stock sound is great too. LOTS of bass and absolutely no distortion no matter what I throw at it. I took it to a Christmas party and it genuinely filled a room with deep sound. This speaker can comfortably get antisocially loud if you choose. Which I sometimes do.Overall I’m very pleased. One of the only times hype around a “cheap” alternative tech product has actually been warranted. If you’re happy with the form factor I think this will please anyone.

Nice sound, decent volume most people playing music will be fine with this but the base is flat no good for RNB or anything heavy on the bass , pop music and the like sounds good.The speakers extremely well made and water proof but he bass sounds like some one hitting a wooden panel its flat and dies off quickly but it's a good speaker still.I even purchased the Soundcore Trance Go Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker with BassUp it was a lot louder with louder base but had the same flat bass, like to somone striking a leather clad door flat with no reverb again, I returned that also likeI I also returned this one.My girlfriends daughter and her friends liked the Soundcore Trance Go Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker with BassUp and were partying all day and evening, for them it was way better than a more expensive one her friend brought to the outdoor party so they used mine instead, overall it's very good well made speaker which will do for most peoples needs.Both allow you to adjust the sound using an equilzer app, where you can store about 5 presets (maybe more), this I found useful when trying to adjust the sound to an exact volume when I took the Soundcore Motion Boom to work, as the volume control is digital it was either too high or too low for what U needed when I clicked the Volume up/down buttin in the soundcore app but the EQ allowed me to adjust the volume to just the right level.It's very well made great quality and clear sound even when turned up high on both, would recommend but not for people who like great bass in songs. (it was odd all my songs were flatish bass sounding but "Walk this way" by Run DMC and Aero smith from the 1980's sounded spot on with the bass for some reason?I used Amazon prime music to test the speakers and evenYoutube "THIS WILL MAKE YOUR HOUSE SHAKE !!! ;) [EXTREME BASS TEST]")I am still looking for a speaker with great bass and might have to spend a couple of hundred pounds to get something I my self would be happy with. Arrived we'll packaged and I was surprised with the weight and the quality.Nothing fancy to look at but feels premium quality when your holding it.Bigger than I expected and ashame that either end don't have a grill to protect the little woofer's,if to go in a suitcase for your holiday.I'm also slightly disappointed it doesn't have a micro SD card slot,as most Bluetooth speakers do,must rely on your phone etcThe sound is loud and as clear as possible,as it doesn't have separate tweeters like it's new big brother.If the had tweeters and a SD card slot,this would sound amazing for its size.The Bass is nice but sometimes I feel like it disappears for a second or two and comes back, can't explain what I mean,lol.Overall,I'm pleased with it .I use the app with treble preset and Bass On and the sounds fairly nice.As for being water proof or if it floats,not tested yet,lol.At the moment,it has a £20 Off voucher,making it £74.99.Oh,you can add more speakers which is nice,two of these would sound nice.If the price drops more,I will purchase another.Soundcore ,add Tweeters and grills for woofer's and SD card slot and aux this would be a best seller for £99.99.The app only gives you 4 presets I think and you can custom your own.Bass on or off,Switch speaker off.Has a timer before it auto switches off,volume control.Also update firmware via app.I gave it 4 Stars,I love my music and I'm fussy about the sound quality at home or in my car and even headphones and earbuds,I like clear mids and treble and a nice bass that has some depth if need be,as the bass makes all the difference,as long as it's not drowning the mids and treble out.Treble preset with bass on,sounds nice,could have been amazing with tweeters....but still sounds great for its size.Will buy another of these.My 2nd Boom arrived and boy does it sound great,half volume is plenty loud,they pair up perfectly and I'm well pleased.Back up to 5 Stars.Battery on this is really great,lasts for ages.App makes all the difference.

Perfeita. Som limpo e sem chiadeira , mesmo no volume 100% e ainda sem comprometer o grave, muito pelo contrário.Estou usando ela a quase uma semana e só perdeu 20% da carga.Comprando ela você tem direito ao equalizador da soundcore. Caso você ache ela um pouco baixa sem personalização é só dá uma pesquisada num Equalizer no Youtube e testar um que mais te agrada.Não me arrependo nenhum pouco de ter escolhido ela ao invés de uma JBL, pois pra mim essa caixa é bem superior a qualquer outra da concorrência com a mesma proposta ( como exemplo, a Flip 6 e a Charge) e ainda foi bem mais barato.

Je possédais déjà une wking D8 ; enceinte puissante, pas mauvaise mais dénuée de basses à faible fréquence ...Résultat très moyen pour la musique électronique et un son moyen également ... les 3 préréglages d'equaliseur sont nazes et rendent quasi indispensable une appli d'equaliseur externe ...En regardant les commentaires de la Boom et les tests sur YT, je me suis décidé pour celle-ci ... Et je ne regrette pas du tout !Il faut absolument installer l'application soundcore qui offre un équaliseur 8 bandes très efficace en mode personnalisé , il transcende l'enceinte !De plus le son du téléphone est synchronisé avec celui de l'appli/enceinte donc un seul réglage de volume, pas un sur le téléphone et un sur l'enceinte .À 69€99 pendant le black friday j'en ai pris 2, c'est top en tws , car chaque boom gère la voie gauche ou droite donc on a une vraie stéréo élargie ( la boom étant stéréo également d'origine ).Les aigus avec la mise à jour du firmware sont tous à fait convaincants et pas du tout étouffés , le son est clair .Avec 2 boom en tws , on a vraiment une bonne puissance, des basses superbes ,du relief , de la définition dans le son mais même seule , la boom s'en sort très bien, sans saturation ni vibration.Cette enceinte est vraiment parfaite si vous cherchez des basses profondes même à volume faible , c'est même surprenant vu ses dimensions !Elle est plus jolie en vrai qu'en photo et la poignée est très pratique, bien plus que la sangle de la wking D8.Elle semble robuste .En tws on peut éteindre les 2 booms avec une seule touche .En résumé , je n'aurais jamais dû acheter la wking qui est totalement larguée en terme de qualité de son et de basses profondes et nécessite un équaliseur externe pour offrir un son à peu près correct ; la puissance ne fait pas tout .La boom , avec des éléments en titane , est très légère , bien plus que la wking par exemple .Foncez, c'est du tout bon !Édit: pour ceux qui trouvent que le son est étouffé et sans aigu , ils n'ont sans doute pas installé l'application d'equaliseur Soundcore très efficace qui permet avec des eq personnalisés d'obtenir à la fois de superbes basses comme des aigus détaillés .... Il n'y a qu'à aller voir les commentaires de personnes calées en la matière sur YT comme Alan Ross pour confirmer les qualités évidentes de cette enceinte ...Et non non, j'ai bien payé mes 2 motion booms, pas de cadeau d'Amazon ou de la marque , mais quand c'est bon il faut le dire , quand ça l'est moins aussi (wking D8)
