These are great, heavy-duty, heavy-looking boots—and they are heavy themselves—but very comfortable. They are for every weather, including the UAE summer heat. They are of excellent quality. But remember that you need to take them off at every airport.

I live in Minnesota, and the winters here can get rather cold. This past winter wasn't too bad, but I was sick of the old pair of winter boots I had lying around the house. They're bulky and the least bit stylish. Initially, I wanted these boots for work because I kept slamming my toe into things, but I no longer work there. The steel toe is always an added bonus, but that's not the highlight of these boots. To start, they're very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They're durable and definitely waterproof at least up until the lace area. They aren't slip proof, but they do offer some slip resistance; in other words, they have good traction. I can walk through mounds of snow with ease and I usually find myself purposely walking the most treacherous of paths. I see these boots lasting a long time for me. I don't even plan on swapping out the insoles because they're comfy enough as they are. Of course, they're leather, so they're going to smell nice.

Would I wear them all day? Absolutely!, because I do. I bought these because I am working at an airport in Northern Michigan and this year the temperature has been bitterly cold. Even inside the hangars. They are comfortable, not to tight, light weight and durable. Best of all they keep my feet toasty warm. Only thing I have had to do is throw on a single pair of thermal socks on those below zero days.
