Sculpey Premo Translucent Polymer Oven-Bake Clay - 1 lb Bar for Jewelry

It's Premo which, IMO, is the world's best polymer clay. The Premo I have gotten from Amazon is fresh and perfect. Too bad the can't send the right clay, tho. The listing for 18K gold gets you black glitter. :( I actually don't think Amazon reads these reviews as I have mentioned this many times and nobody has changed the mistake or offered to make good on the gold clay I wanted. But the clay is fresh and good...it's Premo.

Clay was fresh and easy to condition.

I make Art Toys and this product was recommended. It’s a little firmer than other Sculpey or Fimo products. You have to twist it and roll it to make it pliable, BUT it’s worth it. It rarely cracks and sands well. I tried Sculpey 2. Easier to mold, but susceptible to a accidentally wrecking parts you ARENT focused on, and a lot more cracking.

Crumbly mess, dried out, require significant softener and to be mixed with another color to get it to eventually soften. It took 2hrs to soften half of it. Order from somewhere else,cthis company doesnt seem to care about quality. Difficult to use. Translucent color, not fun to try to use.

I go through a lot of black and white clay for bases, details, and mixing, so getting the 1 lb packs is a no-brainer. The quality is exactly what you’d expect from Sculpey Premo: smooth, durable, and easy to condition, and the price for this quantity is unbeatable. Great texture, bakes evenly, and holds details beautifully. If you work with polymer clay regularly, these big packs are totally worth it.

It is what it says it is. It came in good shape, not dried out or too old to use. After conditioning the clay, it worked the way I expected it to. While I would prefer to purchase in person where I can poke the brick and make sure it is OK, buying from Amazon worked this time when translucent was sold out locally.

One should know that Premo translucent does produce plaquing when baked, but it can still be excellent for some projects. I wouldn't use it for sculpting faces or flesh, but it's great for making faux stones that you want to look like they have inclusions. (Plaques are small cracks in the plastic that form where the clay was pressed together during creation of products.)

a bit hard to work with, and it gets a lot of bubbles that show through when you bake it. I've made some cool earrings with it though

Lässt sich super verarbeiten und hat genau den Effekt den ich wollte. Sieht unbemalt etwas nach Haut aus und ist leicht transparent. Perfekt
