Clever game of logic
Got this for my 7 year old niece. Took a bit of getting to grips with but she has good concentration skills and really liked it once she got going. Need an adult to help get them started with it maybe. Well made and good design. Comes with storage back to keep all the bits together.

The whole family love this game ... brilliant.
This review is for "Walk The Dog" game from Smart Games. Contents 1 x game board 3 x people with dogs on a leash 1 x sitting dog 2 x cats 1 x tree 1 x booklet which lists the challenges and the answers (if required) 1 x drawstring bag for storing the pieces Age This game is perfectly suited for the manufacturer's suggested age of children seven years old and over as well as adults. However my six year old granddaughter has also played and thoroughly enjoyed some of the very early levels in this game, so maybe six years and over is more appropriate. Design/quality This is a very well designed and thought out game. All of the pieces are good quality with no sharp edges or unfinished bits. In use This is an absolutely brilliant game ... it tests your logic, planning and problem solving abilities to the max. It's very simple in concept but can be very addictive and challenging in reality. This is a single person game and you are faced with 80 challenges starting at an easy level and then increasing in difficulty up to the 80th level. And believe me when I say some of the higher levels are very hard to solve indeed. The idea is to place the dog, cats and tree following the set up in the booklet, then you need to solve the puzzle ... by placing the owners with their dogs on leads around the board. Sounds simple? It isn't ... you have to make sure that the lead is fully extended straight ahead, that none of the leads cross each other, nor go over the obstacles, nor be placed diagonally. I like ** Ingenious game ** Great fun ** Can be played by yourself or with others ** Well made ** Increases logic, planning, cognitive abilities, problem solving etc. ** Relieves boredom ** The 80 challenges are very well thought out ** And if you really want to cheat ... the solutions to the puzzles are included in the booklet. I dislike ** Nothing it's all good Price I think the price of £18.56 (price correct at the time of this review) is a fair price for this game ... after all someone had to come up with the 80 challenges. Highly recommended

Fun
My kids had fun playing this and trying to solve the challenges! this comes with a booklet of challenges which you must solve on the board, with the dogs and their walkers. This really encourages problem solving and logic so I really liked it for the educational side of things.

Great.
A really cool puzzle game. Some of the challenges are really tricky. Perfect for a workout of the brain. Both my 8y and 11y old think it's great. Must admit, Ive found it good fun too.

Fun puzzle game
This is a fun puzzle game. The idea of the game is very good and was been well thought out. The aim of the game is to solve the obstacle shown in the challenge booklet. You place the counters (dog, cat and tree) on the 4x4 game board as shown in the diagram, then you have to solve the puzzle by placing the dog and there owners in the correct places, however the dogs lead must be straight and tense (they can't cross over each other and over the obstacles or go diagonal) and they are not allowed to be placed next to other dog or a cat. The game booklet contains 80 challenges starting off easy to more difficulty, there is only 1 correct answer to each puzzle (all the answers are at the back of the game booklet). This game really gets you thinking, it may sound simple however it isn't as easy as it looks (with some of the more challenging levels taking a number of try and errors to get it right). Helps develop planning, problem solving, logic, spatial insight and flexible thinking skills. 1 player game (however it is fun to work with more people to try and solve the puzzle, I had a fun time helping my son complete this) Suitable for ages 7+ (however they may require help for some of the more challenging levels) Comes in a appeal box with all the pieces being stored in a drawstring bag. Excellent quality. Great value for money. Would definitely be looking into other games from this brand. Would make a nice gift. Would recommend.

Mind-boggling game for one.
You don't see too many solo player games any more. So it’s nice to see this one. Of course, more than one person can get involved and help. At first, it looked a bit confusing as to exactly what you were supposed to do with it. You have to read the instructions a few times! It comes in a printed retail box which is quite nice. You get a green base with a 4x4 matrix. With that, you get three dog walkers complete with dogs on leads, but each lead is a different length. As well as this you get a couple of cats and a tree. The idea is to set up a board where no dogs or cats are directly adjacent to each other (perpendicularly). They can only be diagonal to each other. The walkers and dogs have to have their leads fully extended and straight. The lead can go around a tree as long as it’s at right angles. That’s basically the rules. Looks easy until you actually try to do it. The instruction booklet shows many challenging layouts that you have to complete. The layouts and the answers are separated in the booklet, so no cheating! The current price is just under £22 which seems a bit steep in my opinion, although the quality of the parts is very high. Overall, mind-boggling game for one. I hope that helps.

Another cute Smart Games product. This one has the usual top quality plastic playing pieces and fun theme. I love the fact they threw in some cats! If like solo games that helps you think, and enjoy dogs and cats, this one is for you.
