Way Better that Writting on Gloves!
I had gotten a pack of these as a gift when I first became an EMT and I still use them all the time. This notebook is great, way easier than writing on gloves. It is a bit long, but with wise it fits in your back pocket well. It has plenty of space for patient info and it is organized really well. I have found it useful for new EMTs as it helps them give a more concise radio report and turn over. I've had a couple of Doctors and RNs say that they really appreciated it when I gave them the paper after giving my report. I have started giving them out to the new guys at work and they love them. The GCS and Trauma Scale on the back of the front cover is really handy too!The sections are as fallows:Call Info (Date, Time, Run #, Etc.)Patient Info (Name, Sex, DOB, Age, Addrs, Etc.)Chief Complaint (Good Space for writing out)Vital Signs (Temp, Pulse, Resp.,BP,LOC, Eyes, Lungs, EKG)Medical History (Good Space for writing)MedicationsAllergiesOn the backNotesTreatmentsMedical Assesment

Best clinical notebooks
These books are perfect for my clinical rotations. They fit perfectly in the side pockets of my duty pants and are the perfect height so as not to stick out and not too short so they’re easy to grab when needed.I also use them on duty to jot down information from calls and I can’t think of anything that could be more handy, unless they made a page format specifically for Fire service calls that aren’t medical. All in all, I love these notebooks and plan to continue to use them throughout my career. Even after completely filling one notebook, which took longer than I expected given the number of pages, the notebook has held up extremely well. The included quick references are a nice touch as well.

Great to organize your thoughts (EMS)
I work in a variety of roles (first responder, IFTs, ocassional 911s), currently in paramedic school. For clinicals these have been a big help to keep track of my assessment, treatment, and plan, particularly if it's busy or a bit too chaotic (multiple patients, unstable). I'm not one to write down much if I'm busy, but even getting some notes down is a plus. Great layout for documenting your PCR and to template your radio reports. The back cover is blank on both sides (just brown cardstock), helpful if you want to jot formulas and notes to help you do math and etcetera on the fly. You could get the cheap pocket memo pads, but these have fields layed out in an order that makes sense (and who remembers every category score of the GCS). These were delivered during the rain and my delivery guy put it under the end of the gutter. The package was completely soaked and most of my notebooks got very wet, then letting them to sit in the package for a few hours out of the rain before I opened them up. I flipped through the books and put any that were damp or visibly wet in front of a fan, within 12 hours they were bone dry with no ink bleeding or stuck pages. For being not waterproof, I'll buy these again. The 8"x4" are almost too big for special bellowed pockets (a mention to Propper), I'll get the smaller notebooks in the future. Lots of room, even if your handwriting is somewhat large. No ink smearing on the paper, so far.
