It's a very pretty light fixture, but I have no idea how well it works because there is no adapter in the box. I immediately contacted the seller and will edit this review when and if I can actually get power to the light fixture. Edit: The seller replied the same day and is shipping me an adapter with no additional cost or hassle. I will edit again when it arrives, hopefully to review the how well or poor the fixture operates. Edit: The adapter was delivered as promised, and the light was pleasantly surprising. It is much brighter than I expected. The timers, including the 24 hour simulation, work great. I am having no issues with excess heat from the power supply like some others have reported. This is a great fixture, and even better when considering the price tag as compared with similar aquarium lights with timers. I look forward to seeing my plants thrive. One year update: I had it set on the daylight simulation mode for a year. The bad thing about that is I stopped paying attention to its operation. I started to get horrible algae problems, then finally realized that the simulation mode is malfunctioning. The orange light from 6 am to 8 am is more often bright white light instead, and only sometimes the milder, less intensive orange. The bright white light stays on until 8 pm, at which point it turns blue until the end of the cycle. That's 14 hours of bright white light, which is 4 hours too many. I cannot adjust any of it in the simulation mode, so I'm now trying to decide if I want to put the light on a timer, but if I do so many of the nice features of the light, like the orange in the morning, the changing intensity during the day, and the blue at night, will be useless. My advice - Do not set it and forget it. If you use the simulation mode make sure you pay attention, or you're liable to get bad algae issues and stressed fish.

I've owned a variety of aquarium lights in the past, including other LED lights, and in my opinion this light is by far the best light out there based on features and price. As mentioned in other reviews, you can use a preset program and it will go through the sunrise, daylight, sunset, moon light (blue), and nighttime all automatically. You can also use the timer function or select which light mode you want at any given time. Important - Great Customer Service - Warranty: After using the light for 10 months, the orange lights for sunrise and sunset failed. All other aspects of the light worked perfectly, but without the orange lights, it was dark in the morning and evening. The warranty is for 1 year and when I messaged the seller that the light wasn't functioning as it should, he responded immediately and asked me to send a video showing the problem. Within two days a new light was on its way to me. Note: I received the new light today, plugged it in, & everything was working perfectly again! I am one happy customer! Buy with confidence. Outstanding customer service and outstanding product.

My water clarity isn't perfect because I had disturbed the soil, but the blue light is on its second to last brightness setting (almost as low as it would go) and is absolutely stunning. I got this light with the intention of using either the timer or 24/7 mode. I have an axolotl tank and I got this light to grow the plants while being able to adjust the brightness to a low setting since axies dislike light. Unfortunately, not as advertised, in timer mode I can only change the brightness of the white light, I would've liked to choose the color as is advertised, but it does not work; however, the timing does seem functional. As for 24/7 mode, it is exactly as advertised, I can't adjust the brightness and it is just much too bright for my poor axies. For any aquarium that isn't a low-light aquarium, I expect this mode would be superb. Alas, I just turn whatever color I want on in the morning and off at night. Even though this doesn't function as I expected, it's still an amazing product. The seller was very forthcoming about normal shipping issues (which I experienced none of), the 5 different levels of brightness are noticeably different, the colors gorgeous as well. Tldr: I would buy this again, 4 stars because I can't adjust the color in timer mode and according the directions, I should be able to. Would be a 5 star review if this 1 function worked properly. Also would like the ability to adjust brightness in 24/7 mode, but that is not advertised and therefore is not going against the product in this review.

I initially purchased the 48 inch model for my 100g custom tank. The tank is feet long so the light is a bit under sized for it but I wasbok with that. The first light that showed up worked for a test fit, then failed to turn back on afterwards. I had it replaced and it is still working now, that was about 8 months ago. Recently I started another tank project and bought another 48 inch model for a 55g (48 inch long) tank I am using. Fits great as expecting. Nice and bright and all colors are solid. Set it aside after the test like before. Couple days ago I went to install it on the tank to see how everything would look in place, and once again it has failed. Amazon no longer offers direct replacement so I was merely offered a refund then told to repurchase separately. Well I purchased this during the black Friday sales and now it is $13.60 more expensive. That is not the manufacturer's issue but Amazon is refusing to honor the original purchase price even though it was defective. So if you are waiting for a sale price, it's hit or miss if that's going to be worth it. My replacement/4th unit will arrive today, if it fails as well I will update this review.

So far I am pleased with this aquarium light. It was easy to set up and the auto features ,,when it adjusts the lighting for morning and evening works great. I always read reviews before I buy anything and take them seriously. This light had good reviews and so far I like it a lot.

Awesome light for my 55 gallon aquarium! Has many color and bright/dim options. Personally loving the 24/7 option so far. Comes with an easy to understand instruction manual for each setting as well. However, I did receive this light without the power adapter. I tried to use a different power adapter only to find that about 1/4 of the lights worked. I contacted Amazon about it only to be told I would have to return it and order a new one, which was not really the route I wanted to take. I decided to contact the seller instead and explained the situation, and was sent the power adapter separately soon after without hesitation or additional charges. Definitely recommend contacting the seller if you find yourself in the same situation to avoid the hassle. Overall great ordering/buying experience. Lightning fast shipping. Excellent communication. And the light works and looks great and well worth the money in my opinion. 100% recommend. Will eventually buy this for my 29 gallon as well! Edit: got one for my 29 gallon as well and looks just as great! Also come with the power adapter this time so didn’t have to go through the same hassle with the one for my 55 gallon(although it wasn’t exactly a hassle as far as communication and cooperation with seller). Fast shipping and delivery once again. Still would 100% recommend seller and definitely worth the money.

I have been getting hammered by Hygger ads on Facebook and took a chance on this light. My aquarium lighting setup was 2 separate aquairum lights on wifi timers. This light is some much better than what I had. The 24/7 setting is awesome. It starts at 6am with a "sunrise" and ends with "sunset" and "night". Lights go off between 10:30pm and 6am.

I have been in the hobby since the 80s, now this light is one affordable! The quality and the way it picks up colour is incredible! Very happy for my purchase

Waste of product no growth plants 2 weeks observation

I received the package with out power adaptor. With out power supply how I know it's working or not 😞

Lets start this out on a bleak note. The Item showed up, in only the item packaging, and in real rough shape. box was partially open, and shipping had been rough. And, it is a light. I was quite worried. However, the product was in pristine condition, and suffered no damage. The Product is, well stunning, for lack of a better word. The aluminum housing, is beautiful, heavy, and feel solid. As well as suffering no damage in the destruction of the packaging. The lights, are plenty bright for my uses provide many color options. The housing looks great and the lights work well. Now the negative. The timer is USELESS, I was excited to have all the lighting options, the timer, and the lighting settings. and what I got is a single pre-programmed 2-2-3-3-4-10 distribution. I really wish there were a way to shorten some of the zones, or that it had any sort of battery backup for the timed settings. Any power outage, renders the entire system completely useless. As the lighting, the timing, and the program is reset. So in short, the light housing is stunning, the lights more than acceptable, the timer/program is useless. Acceptable value.
