The color and shimmer effect is pretty cool. Looks like a mermaid tail so my daughter likes them a lot. Only problem is the backings they came with are very cheap. I could literally bend them by squeezing them between my thumb and index finger. Therefore they did not hold very well and the backings were lost within a couple of days. Luckily we were able to find the earrings. I ended up purchasing these backings off of Amazon  50-PieceHypoAllergenicBulletClutchEarringBackswithPad,SilverTone . These hold very well and were inexpensive. Overall, I would recommend the earrings but get some different backings to make them more secure. ### ⭐⭐ Posts are too long. The criticism I have about their construction is that the posts are too long. They are much longer than any earrings I own and will absolutely stab you if your head touches a pillow, head rest, yoga mat, etc. Another problem is that the product information on Amazon is incomplete and misleading. It notes that the earrings are not waterproof and must be removed before swimming or showering. Fair enough and forewarned. However, the additional information that comes in the box states "store in a zip baggie or air tight jewelry container." This is a ridiculous requirement (who has an airtight jewelry container?) and should have been posted on the product information section.
