Very high quality grips, comfortable to wear over long sessions, and most importantly they grip really well in a range of exercises including, barbell, dumbbell, captive bars, pull-up/chin-up bars and the likes. The sizing was as advertised, so you need to carefully measure your hand, but otherwise very happy with the quality of these grips.

I'll start off by saying that I've tried quite a few hand grips on Amazon. These are by far the most superior grips that I've tried! They provide great protection, but initially you might feel a little discomfort from pull-up bar workouts if your hands aren't already somewhat toughened up. Otherwise, your hands will get used to these over time. These grips (3 hole version) adequately cover all of your callus areas and is cut in a way that pretty much covers your entire palm as long as you put the correct one on each hand. I don't believe they are marked left and right as I cannot find any markings, but the slightly angled cut should go towards your thumb side. It will make more sense when you put them on and see how they cover your hands. The carbon/leather material provides great grip and also allows the hands to turn around the bar without sticking. So, these are really nice for exercises such as muscle-ups and any other movement that requires some spinning around the bar. You do not need to use chalk with these grips as both the grip and protection is the best I've encountered so far (I've tried 5 different types of grips). I've done about 6 pull-up bar/calisthenics workouts so far with these grips and they seem to be holding up really nicely, even with moves that require releasing and grabbing the pull-up bar again. The fit is great, but get one size up if you like having the dowel effect, which put even less friction on your hands. Otherwise, your normal size works just fine and I don't think you'll be disappointed either way! I definitely plan to stick with these going forward. Fantastic product!!!

- Kaufgrund - Mache seit einigen Jahren Crossfit, seit Anfang 2008 auch kompetitiv und trainiere 5-6 mal die Woche. Viele Übungen strapazieren die Hände, weshalb ich mir zu meiner Anfangszeit folgende Grips bestellte: Suprfit Gymnastic Grips |Handschuhe | Trainingshandschuh | Turn Riemchen | Handschutz | Crossfit Turnen Fitness | Schützt Hände vor Rissen und Schwielen | Leder | M Schwarz Obwohl am Anfang noch ausreichend, trainierte ich zunehmend seltener mit ihnen, weil meine Griffkraft unter ihrer Dicke litt. Das liegt darin, dass ich eher kleine Hände habe (womit ich im Crossfit nicht alleine dastehe) und ich mit Grips die Stange wesentlich schlechter halten kann. In der Box probierte ich 3-4 Artikel namenhafter Hersteller (Handschuhe und Grips) und war mit allen unzufrieden. Dann gab mir ein Freund die Bear KompleX Carbon... - Artikelbeschreibung - Haltet euch bei der Bestellung an die Maßvorgaben des Herstellers - die passen nämlich perfekt! Der Break-In (siehe Youtube) geht schnell von statten, sodass sie nach 2-3 Trainingseinheiten angenehm anliegen. Außen sind sie mit der namensgebenden Karbonfaser ausgestattet, die sie leicht und zugleich resistent gegen die ständige Reibung machen. Die Innenseite liegt angenehm auf der Haut. Kreide drauf und loslegen! Die drei-Loch-Variante schützt die Außenseite der Hand bei Bar MuscleUps perfekt. Möchte man noch mehr Grip, kann man zur zwei-Loch-Variante greifen, die der Freund hatte. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich lieber mehr Schutz habe, als die 10% mehr Bequemlichkeit - is aber Geschmackssache. - Bewertung - Wahnsinn - was für Teile! Bei der ersten Verwendung ist man erstaunt über den bombenfesten halt an der Stange, den man den Grips nicht zutraut. Die Dicke ist vergleichbar mit der anderer Artikel - der Grip ist es nicht! Auch nach exzessiver Nutzung sehen sie aus, wie am ersten Tag und haben kein bisschen von ihrem Halt verloren. Ich empfehle die Verwendung von Wristwraps, die die Bänder manchmal die Handgelänke einschnüren (habe die Erfahrung aber nur bei Bar MuscleUps gemacht). - Fazit - Ich bin begeistert von diesen Gymnastic Grips. Im Nachhinein hätte ich lieber gleich von Anfang an etwas mehr Geld in die Hand genommen und mir diese Dinger gekauft. Spart euch den Frust offener, schmerzender Hände und mangelnder Leistung aufgrund abfallender Griffkraft durch rutschende Handschuhe oder Grips. Kreide druf und ab gehts - RX, sonst gibt et nix!
