We would mount the lights on the wall where they would be exposed to rain. Are these lights well sealed?

A standard outdoor metal wall mounting box attaches to your light with a seal gasket between it and your light. This will keep the water out as long as you beam the light down and not up. The metal outdoor wall mounting box needs a metal tube fastened in it that goes through the wall. This tube allows the wire to be run into the house. It is good to seal around this tube and the wall with a quality silicone rubber, for example. These extra parts are cheap, and in some cases they are already in place if you replace an old outdoor fixture. You might need to hire an experienced electrician if you live in an area that very strictly enforces electrical code.

My electrical box has mounting screw holes that are 3-1/4 inches apart or 2-3/4 Inches apart. How far apart are the mounting holes on this fixture?

I measured mounted mounted light from ground without step ladder. It looked like 3 1/4 but it very well could be 3 1/2". How bout switching out the box? It's an easy job and they can be found cheap.

Can this be installed indoor? My apartment has limited lightning

Yes, it can be installed indoors. Of course wiring has to be installed including a wall switch. Keep in mind it has no shades to soften the light.
