GreeNoodle with Tom Yum Soup (12 count)

Best soup ever. I love the healthier green noodles. The flavors are delicious. There are two spice packets. One has all the ingredients to flavor the soup and the other holds the spicy paste. You can add as much of the paste as you want. Depends on how hot you like your food. The noodles cook in three minutes. You can get these noodles in other flavors or they come in just the plain noodles. My husband usually orders these for me but I just started ordering them myself. They are hard to find in the stores around here so Amazon is the place to get them.

I didn't want my girls eating Ramen. They like these! One prefers the spicy one and the other likes the regular flavor.

Decent, pretty easy to prepare version of Tom Yum soup, but the best thing of all is that's it's not too high in sodium.

I was looking for a slightly healthier version of those cheap ramen bags - they are so good, right?! But they are not great for you, especially the amounts of saturated fat in them. I ran across GreeNoodle and really fell in love with them! The Tom Yum flavor just lacks that depth and flavor - you can see how they are going for the tom yum flavor, but it just needs to be saltier and punchier - it's just a bit bland is all. And I don't know how, because this has more sodium than their Miso flavor, which I really love. The Miso flavor is by far the best - robust, full, rich flavor - really tasty! The noodles are actually really good, too. Not the same depth as good ol' ramen, but it does the trick when you want some tasty noodles. So if you want The Tom Yum flavor, go for it, but you'll need to add some chili oil and salt.

I've been a afan of this brand for years. As someone with an onion/garlic/MSG allergy, finding a ramen I can eat is only possible with this brand. That the quality and flavor are outstanding even then is a big plus.

Green Noodles Moroheiya Tom Yum flavor are one of several flavors. Personally, I prefer the Shitake and Miso flavors over the Tom Yum.

Worst thing about these is when you look in the pantry and they're all gone.

These don't taste as good as the ones I picked up in person at Mitsuwa (for about fifty cents cheaper a pack.) All I can think is that they reformulated the seasoning packets, but are still offloading the old product to online buyers. Which is a bummer, as I really loved the ones from the store, and now I have a case that is kind of meh (they had a sticker that said "improved flavor!" on the ones at the store, which is why this is my theory.)
