Love it, works great on my kiln shelf, and molds! I do find that it takes longer to dry for me than i expected, so i end up putting it in the kiln to dry.

There are a few shelf primers available and each has their pros and cons. Primo Primer offers a slicker surface for some of the casting work I do and the color-- purple or now pink-- helps when you want to make sure that you've covered everything that needs to be covered. Granted, the purple stained more than just what you were coating, and the pink, if it gets on your skin, makes you look like you've had a bit of sun.Overall, an oldie but a goodie when it comes to shelf primers.

The Primo Kiln Shelf Primer mixes easily in the proportions recommended and leaves no residue on the items fired in the first two firings. Great product -- highly recommend.
