Space Winner Storage Cabinet

After reading all the reviews I almost didn't buy this because so many people were saying they received units that were missing pieces, or that the doors wouldn't stay closed, etc. Unfortunately I'm on a budget and this price was within my budget so I decided to go for it. My rationalization to myself was it's just for garage storage and I can put a rubber band on the doors if I need to. When the item arrived, I now understood what other people said in their reviews about the instructions being confusing. It's just pictures with the piece number showing and you have to figure out which piece in the box matches the picture. Most of the pieces in the box have their piece number etched on the back, but you have to search, once you find it it's easier, but there were a few pieces with no number so I had to guess and match with the pictures. I'd say matching the pieces to the picture consumed most of my time, but once I recognized it, putting the actual pieces together was simple. They snap together and are very firmly in place. I had the entire thing put together within maybe thirty minutes but I'd say add another 20 minutes of me staring at the instructions and trying to figure which piece was what so perhaps a total of 50 minutes for me. Once put together, I had zero pieces missing, and the doors stay closed just fine. I'm actually very impressed and happy with the stability of this storage unit, and it will look great in my garage. I like it so much that I got rid of the ugly old storage worktable that I have in the garage and I ordered two more of these last night which should arrive in two days. I am praying that I will have as great as experience with the next two as I did with the first one!

We have a big Keter Cabinet in our kitchen, and I love it. We needed more cabinets and so I decided to go for another Keter brand cabinet. I ordered one of the Space Winner cabinets on Amazon and three Tall Utility Cabinets from Lowe's. The Tall Utility cabinets are a little bit bigger than this one. I'm reviewing BOTH products in this review. The pieces to the Space Winner came in great shape. I wasn't expecting very much from it because of the comments. It is a bit sturdier than I was expecting. It didn't seem like it would be because the back panel is six pieces and they need to be connected (three panels for the top, three panels for the bottom). Everything needed was in the box and nothing was broken. It works very well for my purposes and for me it was worth the cost. In the three boxes from Lowe's, one box had one missing piece and two broken door panels. Everything was fine with the other two boxes. I was able to get two whole cabinets and one half cabinet out of them. The door panels were not broken from shipping. They were in the middle of the box, surrounded by the rest of the pieces of the cabinet, and the rest was in great shape. This is definitely a quality control issue, and I can't believe that the employees aren't noticing the broken pieces when they pack the box. I did not call Keter to ask for replacement parts, so I have no comment on customer service. Despite the broken and missing pieces, I am happy with the cabinets. They serve my purpose and are sturdy enough to hold the things I need them to hold. While the instructions are only pictures, it does tell you which part to use. Each part has a letter or letter/number combination. Some of them are hard to see/find, but it is on each piece it's necessary to be on. I didn't think it was hard to put them together. The first was the hardest and probably took me twice as long as what it says to expect on the box, but the rest went really quick since I already knew the basics from the first one. Don't forget that this is plastic and plastic is generally not as strong as metal. If you don't want to take the chance that you'll have a broken piece come and have to wait for a replacement, or maybe that it won't be strong enough, spend the money on something more expensive, maybe metal, although then there's a chance that it will come dented.

So, I bought this over a year ago now and so far it's held up pretty well. I don't suggest putting heavy items in it or storing stuff in it that's gonna be heavy over time. When I purchased it the price was $99 and that price for this cabinet has been well worth it. The price now is $185 and in my opinion and because I have now owned this for over a year now its NOT worth $185. Yes it's held up but the back has popped off several times, the lock on the front door has come off several times too. If this was made out of thicker plastic like the back and sides that snap together it would hold up better. We recently had to move it and well, if you purchase this make sure you take everything out of it before you move it because if not it will start coming apart. I'm not sure if this review will be approved or not because usually when I make an honest review about something it gets rejected so hopefully this review gets approved. It has served its purpose of what we needed it for and still is, it just sometimes pops apart and it's annoying. ITS NOT WORTH THE PRICE IT IS NOW!!

Sin palabras, si lo estás pensando demasiado, cómpralo! No te arrepentirás!. 1. Es para interiores, no es resistente añ exterior aunque yo lo tengo así sin problema. 2. Es semi resistente, 20 kilos en cada sección. 3. Se ve muy bien estéticamente, minimalista. No olvides dejar tu like y nos vemos en el próximo video!

De mala calidad el material y un plástico demasiado delgado, no hay seguridad en el ensamble. El fondo de la parte trasera es una verdadera pena por lo inestable a la hora de ensamblar. Considero que es un mueble desechable no creo que dure ni el año a me os que no se use regularmente. Considero que por el precio uno hubiera esperado algo más resistente las fotos no reflejan la mala calidad del material por lo que al comprar este mueble uno se siente engañado. De verdad no lo compren y para Amazon es una pena que se presten a vender productos con tan mala calidad.

This is my third Keter Storage Cabinet in the past 5 years (price seems to have increased a bit although these were not cheap 5 years ago). This most recent model had some minor updates to the latch/ locking mechanism, which was a slight improvement. Overall, for a resin storage cabinet, it's fairly sturdy . The assembly and instruction manual are fairly straightforward but be sure to follow the instructions carefully, otherwise, you may compromise the sturdiness of the unit. Also, be sure to secure to wall or fence, depending on where you place it. Unfortunately, at the price, I cannot give this product 5 stars. It is great for what it is ( a resin material storage cabinet), but it seems far too expensive given its size and storage capacity. In my opinion, this would have been a fair deal at about half the advertised price.
