We replaced all our door hinges, interior and exterior, to match our matte black theme. All hinges were well-made, with just one minor scratch on one hinge. It's worth noting that the outer door hinges had 5/8" radius corners, while all interior doors had 1/4" radius corners. Hinges are well made and were pretty easy to replace. Starting with middle hinges, replaced them one-by-one. When finished, all doors were still hung correctly and closed properly. Recommend this product!

The new hinges match the dimensions of the gold builder hinges exactly, which makes changing them out an easy task. The hinges have a sturdy feel and a solid finish. The matte black is popular and they match perfectly with the matte black Schlage door latch sets I installed as part of the upgrade project. Even with good hinges, door fit complications can arise. Be sure to change them out one hinge at a time to minimize door alignment issues. There are plenty of YouTube instructional videos on how to fix alignment problems. Also, use a a box cutter to clean up globs of caulk that inevitably accumulate on the door frame near the top and bottom of the hinges for a clean look. It’s also a great time to repaint your door casings before changing to the new hinges. Best of luck!

Look better than expected

Nice hinges. Color is perfect.

Hinges are fine enough, but be very careful as the paint scratches off easily. In fact, several came with visible scratches. Also, if you have to tighten and loosen the screws more than a couple of times the paint wears off on the edges of the head.

Hinges look and work great so far. Nice way to upgrade old door hardware. Can’t beat the price for 18 hinges. Easy to install and lined up perfectly where original hinges were. Would buy again in the future.

We used these hinges as part of our updates to convert door hardware from bright brass to oil-rubbed bronze. These worked great as an easy drop-in replacement, fit exactly where the old hinges went and no squeaks. Adding a few extra 2" #9 screws would be nice, as sometimes the existing hole threads are stripped and having matching longer screws would save a trip for replacements that may not quite match for color.

Great for the price. Comes with screws. Has some decent weight. Exact same size as old hinge. Swapped with no ptoblems

They seem to work well. They are supposed to be non-squeaking hinges but a couple of them squeak after not much use.

Wasn’t happy with these. They were not the size they were supposed to be. Ended up making them work anyways but it was disappointing.
