Gets into a tight spot.

Files did the job it was needed for.

Sometimes you just want to knock a little bit off the end of a small bolt, or smooth down a couple of rough edges. These little files are perfect for that kind of job. They don't cost a lot of money, so it's no big deal to keep a couple on the workbench or in the toolbox. If you work on watches, they're also very good for final trimming of stems. Make no mistake -- these are roughly finished and you'll never mistake them for precision tools. But for what they are, they're pretty good.

Didn't need them yet. Got them to clean ignition points or water pump control contacts.

Love these little files for my metalwork. Bite in well and make a smooth cut on all my small metalwork. Great addition to my toolbox, and I recommend them to my students.

Well made

I tried to save a few bucks on these, ended up buying the "brand" name a few days later. These just don't have anywhere near as much bite as the Nicholson.

These outlast and do a better job than any of the nail files and specialty nail items that I have used, and I have four of them, and put them in convenient places. The last time I filed points was over three decades ago but these are unbeatable for filing my nails!

I did not read close enough, i thought they were going to as big as in the picture.

Can’t file much as abrasive lines do less than regular 220 or 400 grit sand paper. Waste of money.
