Really good stuff and great as a hot drink full of anti-oxidants when you first wake up. By itself it’s butter however, so is best mixed with a bit of honey for a low-cal healthy morning wake-me-up.

I purchased this cacao powder after hearing it could help with two things: satiating appetite and potentially lowering arterial plaque scores. I received a surprisingly high plaque score, and this is the only natural option I’ve heard of that might help address it. Appetite Control: While I’m still monitoring whether it’s helping with my plaque score, I can say I really believe it’s satiating my appetite. When I have it first thing in the morning, I feel notably less hungry throughout the day. Taste and Mixing: It has a fabulous chocolate flavor - even though I’m not particularly a chocolate person, I find the taste really good. It’s unsweetened, giving you control over sweetness levels. In Greek yogurt (my usual method), it doesn’t stir in perfectly and takes a bit of mixing. However, my wife puts it in her coffee and reports it’s delicious - it stirs and mixes with warm liquids very well. In fact, she just added another bag to our Amazon cart! Caffeine Sensitivity: I’m very sensitive to caffeine intake, and I’m happy to report this hasn’t bothered me at all despite containing some natural caffeine from the cacao. Pros: • Genuinely helps satiate appetite • Great chocolate flavor (unsweetened) • Versatile - works in yogurt, coffee, baking, etc. • Mixes well in warm liquids • Doesn’t affect caffeine-sensitive individuals • Organic • Potential cardiovascular benefits • Wife loved it enough to reorder immediately Cons: • Doesn’t stir perfectly into cold Greek yogurt (requires extra mixing) Bottom Line: Strongly and highly recommend this cacao powder. Whether you’re looking for appetite control, potential heart health benefits, or just a quality organic cacao powder, this delivers. The fact that my wife immediately ordered more says it all!

I was hesitant to buy Cacao, instead of Cocoa, because Cacao is known to have bitter and earthy taste compared to Cocoa, but I gave it a try since it retains more nutrients. I take 2 teaspoon in a cup of hot whole milk, NO sugar, nothing added, and I was surprised to find out it has a smooth taste, not bitter at all, and actually great chocolate taste. BTW I replaced morning coffee with cacao, for health benefits of pure daily cacao, and avoid acid reflux, I instead take green matcha tea for enough caffeine boost while benefiting its alkaline neutralizing acid effect. I highly recommend a try
