I bought the Foxwell NT604 Elite car scanner from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and it has quickly become one of the best automotive tools I’ve ever purchased. This scanner is impressive right out of the box. The build quality feels solid, the screen is clear and bright, and it’s very easy to navigate. I’ve used it on my 2018 Toyota Camry, 2015 Ford F-150, and even my wife’s 2020 Honda CR-V, and it worked flawlessly on all of them. What stands out: Full System Diagnostics – It goes way beyond basic engine codes. I was able to read and clear codes for ABS, Airbag (SRS), Transmission, TPMS, and more. Super helpful when my dashboard lights came on. Live Data & Graphing – The live data streaming is smooth and detailed. Being able to graph sensor readings in real time helped me diagnose a minor issue quickly. Special Functions – Oil reset, EPB (electronic parking brake), SAS (steering angle sensor), and battery registration all worked perfectly. Fast & Reliable – It reads codes quickly and has a very responsive interface. No lagging or freezing like some cheaper scanners I’ve tried. Regular Updates – Foxwell makes it easy to update the software via computer, so it stays current. For the price, this scanner offers professional-level capabilities that would normally cost hundreds more at a dealership. It has already saved me multiple trips to the mechanic and paid for itself on the first use. Highly recommended for DIYers and small shops alike. Great scanner overall have had minimal issues just long downloads of updates when needed. gives a lot of crucial info on your vehicle I recently ran into a blue screen that says file corrupted and I couldnt use the scanner until I "updated" it and I did exactly that and it wasnt working. what I ended up figuring out was if you put the SD card into your pc youll see the SN.txt file for your serial number just update it so its accurate to the exact serial on the back. for some reason mine added a bunch of more numbers at the end and I think thats why it was corrupted. works fine now!

Very user friendly scanner, used it to troubleshoot several vehicles. Can't work on modern cars without a good one. My advice is avoid the cheapest ones and don't be afraid to spend a little more for a better quality scanner. Has a great storage case too.

Easy set up. Got the job done quickly. And correctly. It’s crucial to know the exact transmission fluid temperature when changing or filling these newer transmissions . My NT604 saved me hundreds of dollars in maintenance cost at a dealership.

Perfect. As shown

Works perfectly well to do a Full Diagnostic on most vehicles. It does not have the bidirectional testing abilities which is the next level up from this at around the Same price. But it can definitely tell you what wrong. Engine, Transmission, Brakes (ABS), Airbag (SRS) systems can be tested with this. It also does live data to show “why the transmission failed” without opening it. Can be updated and easy to use. Connects to my iPhone hotspot using WiFi so it’s an excellent value. It doesn’t use a battery but connects to the vehicles using OBD2 and compatible with all vehicles. Like I said, my only downside is No BiDirectional Testing meaning I cannot Tell the Windows to roll down, Starter to click, fuel pump to pump, etc. As a Mobile Mechanic, I use this until I can afford the upgrade; “Bidirectional testing” alone can cut a diagnostic time down tremendously for a few bucks more!

I have a VW Crafter which has a intermittent fault. Because this Crafter is a badged Sprinter, its notoriously difficult from a scanning point of view. Some parts are VM and some parts and Mercedes. The garage I use were finding it difficult to track this fault, so I purchase a scanner to keep in the vehicle and plug in when the fault was present. I purchase a couple of different manufactures devices before this one and neither of them would read the chassis systems. Got good support from the both of those other companies but if it doesn't do what is says on the can then is not fit for purpose and both got returned. it one of the great things about purchasing via Amazon This Foxwell unit once plugged in, automaticity found the right type of vehicle and read the VIN number. It read the fault codes and they was reported on the screen with a description of the code. It also read the previous faults which I was able to clear. This is a manual unit by which I mean is not a touch screen, you have to use the buttons to navigate and select. But as this is the only unit that's fully worked on this vehicle and I will not be using it every day I'm happy to use the buttons.

Attention avant l'achat ! La valise manque de nombreuses options, notamment le menu "Maintenance" qui n'existe plus, même après une mise à jour. Pourtant, avant l'achat, j'avais consulté le site web de Foxwell où il était clairement indiqué que le menu "Maintenance" était disponible pour ce modèle.
