What is the size in inches? my head is 24 inches circumference, would the l/xl size fit or be too small?

I bought one for a 23 and 1/2 in. head size and it fit great---I washed the hat in warm water and it did shrink some but still fit okay.

What is the real difference in size from s-m to l-xl size options. the description is the same on the amazon ?description.

Well awhile back I got two of these in l xl and tay were about a inch and a half too big for my average size head -Recently I ordered 3 more in the s-m size and they fit perfect not to loose not to tight-If you have an average size head I ed go with the s-m-Excellent hat bye the way.....

There are two vent holes on each side of my hat. Hat runs big. I got a small/medium.
