**Q: Can these bulbs be used to replace the christmas led of the 5mm that are concave style?**
A: ... Depends entirely on the specifics of the "Christmas LED" (and what you mean by "concave style"). If the original string shares the same electrical characteristics as these, then sure--but there's no way to randomly guess what kind of LEDs you're trying to replace.
**Q: Do you have leds of 1.5 volts available?**
A: I do not have any but there might be some out there. Try DigiKey or Mouser electronics.
**Q: Can I use a 9v battery**
A: Dear customer, voltage range of these diodes are: R/Y 2.0-2.2V; B/G/W 3.0-3.2V. 9v battery could only be used with proper resistors. Thank you for asking and hope this answer could be helpful.
**Q: These + a 2-3 volt DC button battery and it lights up? Aside from a switch and the connections, anything else needed?**
A: depends on the purpose of your use of the LED. I used several to illuminate a model r/c airplane with two 1.5 AAA batteries and an off and on switch. They can be soldered together plus to minus leads in series or connected by lengths of wire. Note: some require different voltages identified on the container lid
