This case met the need perfectly. It fits together well. If there are any downsides, it is that the black iodized paint does scratch easy. Review: Nice project enclosures - I bought 2 of these to house a couple of preamp boards , I finally got around to working on them, the board fit nicely in the integral slots furnished in the sides , they where 3/8in. To long so I cut them on my chopsaw down to size . They fit together nicely the screws self tapped into the cut end .
