warm and toasty if you the absolute ultimate this is it no wind no rain no cold this thing is awesome mated with layers of wool underneath you will never get cold in this thing. above 20 deg next to nothing underneath no problem. I only wear it when we laydown in the laydowns it is to warm when working in the decoys unless extremely cold out excellent pocket size and layout hand pockets are low enough to actually use. Also, I was at the store and tried the hudson in a 2xl and was a bit tight so I ordered the 3xl perfect fit I can layer underneath if needed and this thing rolls up and fits in my pack no problem Would I buy again only if I want the wife to kill me haha

Great jacket for late duck season. On those early morning cold boat rides on the river to duck holes are easier to take. This jacket is so warm, I found myself taking it off later in the mornings. I purchased this jacket two duck seasons ago and I am very pleased. It has a big price tag but worth it when you are hunting rivers with temperature below freezing.

Goretex material, gore optifade pattern and Sitka design is the best stuff out there. I did have one issue with the velcro tab on the sleeve separating but I sent it to SITKA and they repaired it and shipped it back fast. The features built into this jacket are amazing. I've work it in layout blinds around farm ponds, duck blinds on rivers, boats and pole blinds on the eastern shore of Virginia in freezing temps, snow, rain, wind and even 50 degree sunny days (the hardest was the latter, sweating in it). This is an extremely warm jacket that is not bulky at all. I wish the hood could come off, but that's a small issue. I took off the call lanyards and use my own. The jacket fits a little snug around the bottom hem, but no matter it's designed to be cinched.

Warmest jacket I own, even warmer than the Sitka Incinerator I have for deer hunting. Would recommend to everyone looking for a super warm jacket.

Warmest jacket, sizes run small, had to go up 1 size to fit. Only gripe is one way main zipper for parka length coat.

Worn this jacket a bunch on some really cold hunts. I also have a Hudson which is great too.If your hunting below 20 degrees or so or in heavy wind this is best. Hudson is lighter but not as insulated.These coats blow away Drake and the rest of them. Spend the money, don’t get sick or come in frozen during duck season.Highly, highly recommend them.
