Any new blade works. I decided to take a step up and buy a decent blade for my harbor freight compound miter saw and chose this blade because I new Freud made good product. This blade cuts as they say, like a knife through hot butter. The harbor freight saw is not a great saw and actually has a bit of movement and flex which can make your cuts just slightly ugly of even a tad out of square. This blade cuts so well that it has eliminated the movement of the saw since it take no effort to cut the wood.
