I used this toothpaste as instructed (with my Oral B IO 9 toothbrush), and, with flossing, my teeth feel almost just as clean as they would after my regular dental visit. But make sure you follow the instructions: Brush for 1 minute with the first and without rinsing, brush 1 minute using the peroxide-based toothpaste from the second tube. I used the second toothpaste a bit longer than I should have (I had to experiment a bit) and it left my teeth a bit sensitive for a few days. Just follow the instructions, and you'll be good to go. A: This tooth paste and gel hut my gums, if you have sensitive gums dont use this

**Q: How does this 2 step kit differ from the sensitive teeth 2 step kit. same active ingredient. what are the inactive ingredients doing differently?**
A: Step 2 is the whitening gel and polish. It's a little more time consuming to follow the second step. Also, you don't rinse after using the first step when using the whitening polish but you do when it's the only step.
