Works - 1 week in
The dashcam works well, it is easy to install and easy to connect. Everytime you start you car you will be greater by a Chinese voice, and everytime it detects sudden movement it will make a picture and you will see those moments back on the app to make it easier to find that moment to download. After one week, so far so good.

Power cable not long enough for SUV
Great product and it arrived quickly but the power cable is not long enough for a SUV (Nissan Patrol) so it's a bit disappointing that it's not as tidy as it could be.

Nice Product
Nice dashcam. It can also handle a 256gb sd card even though its advertised maximum storage is 128gb only.

WILL I KEEP IT ?
Bought this to replace a DDPAI Mini2 that I had for 5 years. Nothing wrong with it just wanted 4K and speed recording etc. Purchased the hardwire install kit also to have the parking feature .The first hurdle was realizing the DDPAI hardwire kit did not have among its 3 fuse type wiring choices the mini2 fuse connector type which is what my Genesis has. Ordered the correct fuse connector from Amazon. Next hurdle is the self adhesive stickers that come with it are gray. Some would say no big deal but for me it looks bad when a large square of gray is obvious on your windshield and you want to have a discreet camera install. I'm still trying to find a solution to that and I have several items on order. But the most troubling thing is that the unit will not power up every time I start the car. It's a new car and I was told that some cars have a momentary voltage dip below 12 volts when the car starts to send more power to the starter. But the camera thinks the battery is low and turns itself off to save the battery. There is a YouTube video showing the installation of the hardwire kit and then showing this issue. The solution when this happens is to restart the camera. Since there is no off/on button so you have to disconnect the power to the camera and all is well. I'm not sure if I want to have to do this long term. Perhaps an update from DDPAI would fix this but I show no available updates to this unit. The camera is well made and it is quite heavy for a dash cam which is why the attachment pad to the windshield is large. After 3 weeks so far I'll give it a few more days and then decide if I'll return it or live with it .....

Fit for purpose and absolutely no fuss to use
This unit acts as a second dashcam for my car and used to record the inside of the car cabin.I attached it to 360 degree rotating clamp and afixed this onto my windscreen.Works very well.

Good camera. App is okay
Bought this to have in my daughter's car. The picture quality is decent at this price range. The app is okay, wish I could connect to a computer to download the trips instead of only 2-3 minutes on my phone. I do like that the unit records while the car is parked.

Love this Camera
I’m a dash cam addict. I lost count of how many of different dash cams that I bought. Some returned and some I kept.Emergency Capturing:The annoying part in most of the dash cams is the difficulty in recording an emergency video. I use dash cams in my three cars that I drive to record clips of the idiotic scenes that occur in front of me. I upload them to youtube or share them. In addition, I use them to protect me from false accusations! Most of the dash cams have dedicated emergency button that is NOT easy to reach and operate, especially if the dash cam is installed to the right side of the windshield, which is my preferred spot. I like the dash cam to be hidden of my sight, yet operable at the same time. Some dash cams offer the emergency button function as an app in the phone. Seriously, who has the time to start an app and then capture the emergency video? Others have voice command functions to capture the emergency videos. Again, it is not 100% dependable since the voice recognition is a hit or miss. Unlike Alexa or Google Home voice recognition which is amazing…This camera solves the problem by providing a dedicated wireless button that can be installed anywhere in the car. The down side here is that the camera records up to 30 seconds “15 seconds before pressing the button, and 15 sec after pressing it” of video as an emergency clip. It could be enough for you, but wish if it was at least 60 seconds.By the way, my ex-dash cam that I was using is Philips adr810. It has a dedicated emergency button in the cigarette lighter plug. Nice !! But switching due to the higher quality video in the DDPAI cam and the ease of transferring video clips via WiFi.WiFi:Love the smart WiFi connection in this dash cam. It cleverly connects to your phone on demand. Transferring the video clips is so easy. I don’t need to take out the SD card in order to transfer the files, as I used to do in my previous dash cams.If I record three video clips in a trip, it takes the phone 30 seconds to download the clips.Quality:The video quality is amazing, and I heard they are releasing mini3 model which has even higher quality. I’m not sure of the price of the mini3 yet, so can’t decide if I’m going to upgrade. My wish list:1- I wish if the camera can be removed easily after installing it, such as using a magnetic connection instead of just having the holder integrated into the camera, where the older is attached with a 3M tape to the windshield.2- More advanced options to increase the recording time “at least 60 seconds”.3- The camera holder needs to be in the middle of the camera to avoid any tilting after installation. I did not notice any tilting in the video, but it seems the camera is a little bit tilted to the left since the holder only supports the right side of the camera. I do love how the camera is only allowed to go up and down, without going left and right since you don’t need the camera to move freely during driving, plus the camera already has wide angles so your left and right are always covered. In summary, this is the best dash cam in the market as of today. It is underrated and not very well known and I don’t see a lot of reviews about it, but I love it alllooottt.
