The kalimba is good, but the finger caps are very bad.
The case and kalimba are pretty solid. The finger caps are very small and very uncomfortable. The hammer though working fine feels very fragile.

I've owned several kalimbas, including (but not limited to) a black walnut 21 key Lingting, the black walnut 21 key Hluru, and the hollow 21 key Moozica with the hole at the bottom. These are all quality kalimbas, but this MOOZICA 21 Keys Solid Koa Kalimba is my favorite 21 key Kalimba. In fact, since buying it, I've given the others away. Except for the Lingting - that one is still waiting for a good home. All of these kalimbas produce beautiful tones, so for me, it came down to comfort and aesthetics. My Lingting is an attractive instrument with dark, matte wood, and it produces beautiful sound, but it has a thick, heavy body with sharp edges. It won't cut you, but I don't like the feel of it in my hands. The edges of the body should have been softened more. The tines are comfortable to pluck, but not engraved. I really prefer when kalimbas are engraved with both letters and numbers. The Hluru is comfortable to hold and has superior sustain on the high notes, but while I wouldn't call it UGLY, I don't find it especially appealing visually. The biggest problem for me, with this kalimba, is that the tines are excessively curved. The curvatures are not uniform, and some of the tines are unevenly bent. In practice, this means that some of the tines are slightly longer or shorter than they should be, and although the kalimba is properly tuned, having the length of the tines being off even slightly trips me up while playing. The hollow Moozica is much larger and thicker than the others. I thought, with it being hollow, it would be lighter weight than the flatboards, but although I haven't actually weighed it, it feels heavier and blocky. The wood is beautiful, and it is very sturdy, but its size and weight make it tiring to hold because I have very small hands. On low notes it creates a wonderful "wah wah" effect when moved against the body while playing, but that isn't as noticeable on higher notes. In fact, some of the higher notes sound sort of muffled. Not stiff or dead - I think it is just the acoustics of the design, but I'm not wild about it. So overall, this flatboard Moozica is the winner. The sound is lovely. Its rounded bottom, gorgeous color, and high gloss finish make it a beautiful instrument. It feels the lightest, although that may just be due to how well it is balanced, and as the thinnest of my kalimbas, it is the easiest to hold. The tines are engraved with both letters and numbers, they are uniform and easy to pluck. The tines themselves are smooth on the top and sides, so glissandos are easy to play - they don't feel sharp like they sometimes do on cheaper kalimbas. I'm in love with this kalimba.

The solid koa wood gives it a rich, warm tone and a professional look. It’s well-crafted, easy to play, and comes with clear instructions that make it beginner-friendly! Overall, it’s a wonderful instrument with both beauty and sound quality, could be a good gift for someone!

I am more than happy with this kalimba! The Kalimba comes in a big package with a case, extra supplies and a little surprise (which I will not tell :) ). My boyfriend and I were both very excited and immediately started to practice in turns. In the package there is also a small booklet in which the key combinations for a few simple songs can be found. After a while we tried to play Kalimba songs on Youtube (e.g. Yiruma - "River flows in you", listen to short Video). The quality of the kalimba is really convincing. The sound of the instrument is very lovely and the mahogany wood feels so nice! When you play notes, you feel the gentle vibration of the beautiful wood. I can imagine that it creates a wonderful atmosphere when you have the Kalimba with you on a walk through nature and you play some nice songs during the picnics. :) I am very very happy and I am looking forward to learn more songs on it!
