Incredibly Comfortable
They are incredibly comfortable and provide great support for my feet while hiking. The waterproof material is also a great feature that keeps my feet dry in wet conditions. Highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a reliable pair of hiking shoes!

I hate Merrell
For years I had been buying $120 to $150 Merrell boots (my last pair was black leather like this one, and $150) and I bought them because they were made in the USA and good quality. They were more expensive that I wanted to pay for boots, but the quality was there so I paid it. Until my last pair. I don't know what Merrell did to these boots, maybe they glued the outsole on with bazooka bubblegum, but they squeaked like clown shoes with every step. Loudly. Nothing I could do worked. I tried drying them out, I tried poking holes in the outsole thinking there was an air pocket, I tried boiling them. Yes literally boiling them to soften the glue. Nothing worked. I wore them for months thinking they needed to be broken in, but over time they just squeaked louder. I wore these everywhere, even to work, and it was embarrassing. After contacting Merrell and asking why they were like this, if there was a warranty or anything they could do, they ignored me. A USA manufacturer not only didn't stand behind their product, they had nothing to say for their piss poor craftsmanship. Why do I say all this? These are Timberland boots. Why should I care about all that? Because these $100 Timberland boots made in who knows where (China? Dominican Republic? Vietnam? Timberland manufactures there and other places as well.) are of higher craftsmanship than the last pair of Merrell boots I had. I am happy with these boots. These boots are an excellent buy at $100 and surpass the quality of the $150 boots they replaced. I am never buying Merrell again. But I would buy Timberland again. What does this say about American craftsmanship? Not only can we not compete when it comes to price point, we can't compete when it comes to quality. I fear for the future of the USA.

These boots are made for walking
I would wear a size 10 1/2 shoe. Sometimes 11. I ordered an 11 1/2 and it fit perfectly. There is good support. I walked 5 miles and then my second day and my feet were fine. They’re comfortable.

Comfortable, functional boots.
Nice, tough boots, good for walking in wet grass and it is easy to slap the mud out of the tread afterwards. You could wear them from the paddock straight to church or out to lunch, I understand now why they are so popular.

Excellent boot
I have two pair of these. One for myself size 11 and one for my nephew size 8. These are great functioning and looking boots. I would buy them again and recommend them.
