Can you use this to make iron on labels for crochet projects?

I don't think it would hold well to knit/crochet projects. It adheres well to cotton, but not thicker fabrics like canvas. I would look for a more heavy duty product - this is meant to be stitched onto the fabric as well.

Can you use this paper in a sublimation printer

This product is recommended for ink jet printers. The instructions say not to use a laser printer.

Do it leave the clear residue?

There is NO residue. The bonding agent is ironed to the fabric. I love this for a light but strong bond on fabrics.
