One of the most helpful utilitarian devices available for FPV/FPS/Flight Sim/Driving
Pros: - The leading head tracking device - Very accurate - Feels "natural" when looking - The adjustments on this are incredibly specific allowing you to dial-in your exact expectations/limitations - Small and light but well-made Cons: - Have to remember to start the TrackIR App and "zero" yourself each use or if you adjust your headset - App can appear to be complex to basic users - IR only attaches onto one side of your head, handles left turns and some maneuvers differently This is THE head tracking utility in the universe to use. I have used this on X-Plane, MSFS, Star Citizen, EVE Valkyrie, DCS, Elite Dangerous, and almost every driving game out there(except TDU2 on Steam). I particularly like how great it works with DCS and ED. I eventually had to tailor the curves for each game for the maximum effectiveness but it works great out of the box. Take the time to read everything and experiment. This even works flawlessly with older games such as Falcon 4.0: Allied Force. Definitely a good buy if you're tired of moving the camera by the keyboard or camera pan buttons. Free-look is amazing! I will definitely buy the next version.

TrackIR 5 Pro Bundle = Amazing Addition to any Flight Sim
TrackIR 5 is excellent for flight sims The TrackIR 5 Pro bundle is an excellent addition for anyone looking to improve their game play on any flight simulator! This is the second best piece of kit to use, next to the first: a HOTAS joystick, throttle, and rudder system. It also has benefits in FPS titles. The Pro package contains the infrared tracking eye, a support stand for it, passive IR "TrackClip" (attaches to most ball caps), and an active "TrackClip Pro" (attaches to a headset). Setup is easy and was accomplished within 10 minutes from opening the box. The software must be downloaded from the TrackIR website to ensure you use the up-to-date software. If you want to get a more "natural" feel for looking around the cockpit of your favorite flight sim then you will not be disappointed with this product. Next to a HOTAS throttle & stick setup, this should be high on any flight simmers' priority. It works seamlessly with Falcon BMS v4.34 and DCS World.

Great Support From Both Natural Point And KBI/Ergo Warehouse
The TrackIR is a product that performs well for me. I use it to play DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator and while the setup's learning curve is a bit steep, there's a lot of help on YouTube. A little perseverance will pay off. I did have a problem with the included TrackClipPro. It quit working but I was able to use the normal hat mounted clip with no issue. I created a trouble ticket with Natural Point (the manufacturer) that was responded to very quickly. Once they determined that it was defective, they told me to contact the seller on Amazon. I did just that and in 3 days, and two emails, I had my replacement. Great Support!! TrackIR has almost no serious competitors so, while it's a little spendy, it works as advertised and makes my gaming a whole lot more immersive. That and my excellent support experience makes recommending this thing a no-brainer.

TrackIR still the best!
Still the best. The track clip PRO is really good but you have to set it up a special way. I have 4 TrackIR's. They work vey well once set up properly!

Great product very few cons many pros
Iv put off trackIR for years but I finally went ahead and bought it now I prefer it over vr for simulators it is perfect for DCS and Star citizen. Pros: easy to get working directly out of the box Extremely accurate head tracking Has support in virtually all games that need head tracking to be enjoyable. Very comfortable Cons: while not many still think they need to be described The proclip while looks and feels quality it also has a fragile feel to it as well I often find my self worried I might snap one of the three lights off it or break the actual clip mechanism The mount for the IR receiver will fit all monitors but may not hold it Firmly In place While it is easy to get started right out of the box it may take some time to learn how to perfectly tune a profile to get it set up properly for you Overall great purchase worth every cent and would buy again if needed or a new generation came out

Turning my head has seriously never excited me like this
There are no two ways about it: I could never fly the same again without headtracking. Elite: Dangerous, DCS World, Rise of Flight and Arma 3, the games I purchased this equipment for, all recognized it immediately with no input from me. And there is no lag whatsoever when I turn my head to check a cockpit warning light, or look down to see what my fuel pressure is at, or examine my cargo holdings... It took a few minutes to acclimate to a turn of 15 degrees of my head translating to a turn of 50 degrees on screen but it becomes quite easy to glance at exactly what you want with barely a few hours of practice. And let's talk about being able to lean out over the side of the cockpit of a Sopwith Dolphin biplane roaring 20 meters over the ground to check that your two released 20lb bombs had an effect on your intended target: You will never be able to go back to a POV hatswitch after the feeling that that gives you. The depth that this brings to flight simming cannot be overstated; the only thing I see challenging this would be full VR and I frankly did not want to invest that much in rather unproven tech yet. The Pro Clip is poorly manufactured, and has a terrible design, but if/when it breaks I will just fabricate my own fastener; a first-year engineering student could have done better than this tripe so I'd wager I can whip something up without starting WW3. Truly, the Pro Clip's design is the weakest point of this whole package. It will not fit all headsets, and is counter-intuitive to properly fit to even regular headsets with thin metal bands. I recommend checking whatever you plan to affix the Pro Clip to for compatibility before ordering it unless you don't mind having to work at it. However, once the Pro Clip is in place: magic. I game at night when my daughter is asleep; so the IR emitters the Clip brings to the table are great since I cannot use the regular reflector design as well. The Pro Clip is definitely questionable; but since you can get this bundle for just about $10USD more than the regular TrackIR 5 and I can work with it I won't complain too loudly - your results may vary. I could easily see someone with less delicate installation methods breaking the Clip before ever even getting to use it, and that would be a no-go. Drivers were a breeze to install, and the program comes "out of the box" with a default setting I have not needed to tweak or mess with whatsoever. Seriously, from when this arrived to when I was excitedly calling my wife over to watch me turn my digital head was under 20 minutes. I tried FreeTrack, FaceTrackNoIR, and several others and they all required more setup and work than I wanted to engage in, especially for the dubious results I was getting. TrackIR has won me a customer and I will recommend the TrackIR 5 to anyone I fly with. Try it. You will never want to fly without it, and if you use it with Arma 3 or DayZ you'll wish every single FPS ever made supported this thing. I know I do.

Cheap materials, very bad design and build quality
This is hands down one of the worst products I’ve ever purchased across any category. While the core functionality technically works, that’s the bare minimum you'd expect from a device with a single, simple purpose. The one star goes to the abysmal build quality and poor overall design. The plastic feels like the cheapest possible material—think disposable cutlery quality. The sensor stand is poorly thought out: it doesn't tilt, so unless your monitor is positioned just right, you’re out of luck. The unpowered tracking clip meant for hats is arguably the best piece of hardware in the box (made out of metal), but even that fails at its job. It doesn’t grip the hat securely and constantly slips out of place. The powered TrackClip Pro is a case study in bad design. It attaches awkwardly to headphones (e.g., Razer BlackShark), slowly slides out of place, is constantly visible in your peripheral vision, and feels fragile every time you remove your headset. The clunky size and poor materials make it genuinely frustrating to use. Considering the nearly $200 price tag (with tax), this is completely unacceptable. It feels like the manufacturer is taking advantage of a niche community. I returned it after just a week of steadily building frustration. TL;DR: The functionality is there, but it's wrapped in a poorly designed, cheaply made package that’s frustrating to use and unlikely to last. Unless you’re a professional-level flight simmer, you’re likely better off using one of the iPhone head-tracking apps—they’re more affordable and far less aggravating. If you're not a pro level virtual pilot, you'd be much better off buying one of the iphone apps that do head tracking, they work fine and for the price of a cheap, tilted charging stand for your desk + the app you get a frustration free solution. If you're a pro, you porbably already know all this and you have one of those headband ones. TL;DR: The basic functionality is there but it is a badly designed, very! poor quality toy that's awful to use and will physically break soon.

Fantastic product and retailer
This product works great for flight sims like Microsoft flight sim and DCS. But even more impressive was how fast this thing shipped from Florida all the way up to Edmonton Alberta. Totally surpassed expectations.
