I have sensitive skin and need closed.** A: Hi. This is a closed comb shaver. I also have sensitive skin. I'd recommend using it with pro silver blades. And another thing I do is I buy hydrogen peroxide in the brown bottle with a sprayer top and I spray the blade and razor head. What a difference it makes. It kills a lot of the bacteria that gets under your skin even from a brand new blade fresh out of the package. You'll appreciate this razor for the longer handle. It is well balanced and the Knurling on the handle not only looks great, but it helps you grip it as well. **Q: Is this Merkur model 23c?** A: It looks like it. On the product page, over to the right it should say "4 styles", with 4 models to select from. One of these is the MK-23c. Just make sure you select it before ordering. When you receive the actual razor, the packaging does not say "23c". Mine says "90 23 001". **Q: Can you please state what model this is. Is this a #180?** A: Yes, this is the 180 model. **Q: Bought this razor but i don't see that it's long handled! am i missing something? it's just regular size.** A: Typically the Merkur long handle razors are around 95mm and the short are 75mm.
